The second wave of Jada Toys' Mega Man line has arrived! With their first wave leaving a strong impression, can Jada Toys capture that success again with another solid release? Join me after the break as we dive into everything these figures bring to the table.

Wave 2 stays within the first Mega Man game and consists of Hyper Bomb Mega Man, Cut Man, and Elec Man.With similar body types, each figure offers about the same articulation, allowing for a wide range of poses. Like the first wave, they're sturdy and built to withstand play and posing—so use that 'ol sense & skill to have fun! At a suggested MSRP of $19.99 USD, it's hard to find a better line in terms of detail and character range for the price.
"Get Equipped with Hyper Bomb"
First up is Hyper Bomb Mega Man. At its core, it's a green and white variant of the Wave 1 Mega Man, but a closer look reveals much more. Before we get too deep into things, I have to point out how much better Jada's quality has gotten. Just look at the eye decals compared to the Wave 1 release. While the original release looked really good, Hyper Bomb Mega Man's face just looks so much nicer.
"Dare to compare."
Hyper Bomb Mega Man comes with a smiling face, a face matching the original Hyper Bomb art, alternate hands, a Buster, and, of course, the Hyper Bomb itself. The Hyper Bomb also includes an optional stand for better throwing poses. If the Hyper Bomb isn't your favorite Special Weapon, fear not; this figure can be used as a Leaf Shield Mega Man or a Search Snake Mega Man to go with the upcoming Wood Man and Snake Man releases!
"Kaboom!"
"Let's cut to the chase."
Next up is DLN-003: Cut Man. While Cut Man has a very simple design, Jada Toys was sure to include every last detail on the backside of the figure. The articulation of the figure is exactly the same as Hyper Bomb Mega Man's, but Cut Man has a fun addition: the Rolling Cutter on his head is fully articulated, and that can make for very precise posing. Cut Man includes two heads inspired by different artwork, alternate hands for dynamic poses, and a Rolling Cutter with a stand for a flying effect. The hands may also grip the Rolling Cutter, though I didn’t have much luck—granted, I didn’t try too hard, so take that with a grain of salt.
"Kung-fu Cut Man is ready to go!"
"Electrifying!"
The final figure in this wave is DLN-008: Elec Man. Elec Man is definitely the most complicated design we've seen so far from Jada Toys' Mega Man line, and this comes with some good and not-as-good points. First off, the colors on this guy really pop. Everything from the shades used for his suit to the most minute details on his back are done excellently. However, the armor on his chest hampers his movement a bit. Elec Man can still hit a lot of fun poses, but don't expect him to point straight up any time soon. Elec Man comes with two heads based on different pieces of official art, alternate hands, and a Thunder Beam effect piece that can be put directly onto Elec Man's arm.
"Energize!"
"The gang's all here!"
