- Mega Man: A helmetless variant that includes a Met, a smiling helmeted headpiece, a Mega Buster, a Charge effect piece, and two alternate hand parts.
- Bubble Man: An alternate headpiece, three hand parts, and a Bubble Lead effect piece.
- Wood Man: An alternate headpiece, two hand parts, and a Leaf Shield effect piece.
Bubble Man and Wood Man’s packaging is a pleasant surprise, highlighting their status as the bulkiest Robot Masters in Jada’s lineup yet. If you plan to keep them unboxed, you might need to rearrange your display shelf to make room.
There's no word yet on when Wave 3 will hit stores, but we're keeping an ear to the ground.UPDATE: In an interview with The Figure Report, Jada Toys' lead designer, Juhn, confirmed that Wave 3 is essentially complete, with pre-orders expected to go live in time for San Diego Comic-Con. Juhn also hinted at a possible SDCC exclusive and news on additional figures. Additionally, they have a year and a half’s worth of unannounced Mega Man toys planned.

which wave is proto in? i thought he was gonna be in this one.
ReplyDeleteProto Man is wave 4, with Snake Man and Gemini Laser.
DeleteI love that Mega Man comes with basically an extra life face.
ReplyDeleteAnd the unannounced stuff has me excited. Really hoping the line goes on long enough to get Mega Man's Rush Adapters and Bass.
Nice to see these are still coming. Wondering if Bubble Man and Wood Man will be at a “deluxe” price point with the oversized boxes. Also somewhat surprised (in a good way) that Bubble Man seems to have parts for having the buster on either arm, even though it’s always on the left arm in artwork and only changes sides in-game.
ReplyDeleteAlso: in a in a first for the boss Robot Masters, Bubble Man’s alt head isn’t based on the Complete Works art, but instead the Street Fighter x All Capcom art… which incidentally, is one of the few artworks with the buster on the right arm.
DeleteYou know what I like about Jada? It's affordable. And their newer figures look pretty good, even thought the paint apps on wave 1 were a little spotty.
ReplyDeletewhat I like about 'em? robot masters!
Deletehurray! something that looks great!
ReplyDeleteI hope we get some real surprises for future waves, like a Robot Master from a much later game like MM7, 8, 9, 10 or 11. That, or a deluxe-sized figure of someone like Duo
ReplyDeleteJada has been knocking it out of the park with these figures. A fair price point, good articulation, and love the overall look. I was pretty pumped to hear they have like 1-1.5yrs of stuff in the pipeline already. Hoping these sell well enough for them to consider keeping it going for even longer!
ReplyDeleteJuhn said the Price for all the figures Will increase and Bubbleman and Woodman Will be deluxe figures. He didn't Say the Price.
ReplyDeleteI would wager $30 to $35. That is a good guesstimate, based on their other offerings.

Another note is Mega Man released at $19.99 and is now going for $24.99, as is the wave 2 figures.
DeleteLeaving us hanging on Gutsman and Bombman. :(
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm really hoping that they announce those two at SDCC! Finish up Mega man !!
DeleteThere’s a decent chance they’d fit at this new “deluxe” size. Hell, Bomb Man and Bubble Man already have basically the same body type. Maybe they’re even a two-pack for SDCC? (actually no that would suck)
DeleteJada´s stuff is one of the few cases where I don't want to unbox the figures. I love the designs on the boxes, for both the Rockman line and Street Fighter.
ReplyDeleteI hope they're gonna do actual metal man. I have a friend who loves him. :3
ReplyDeleteNot sure how far they plan on going with the line, but they have a lot of ground to cover. I hope they don't bow out before the Mega Man 1 and 2 bosses are completed, at the very least. I think they should at least increase the number of releases each year to four instead of three, especially if one of the figures is a guaranteed Mega Man variant.
