Capcom and Sega's UFO catcher partnership continues with the reveal of a new Rockman Luminasta figure. Based on his appearance in Rockman 11, this figure will be available in Japanese UFO catchers later this summer, Sega announced.
Sega’s Luminasta line features 6- to 7-inch non-posable figures inspired by characters from anime, manga, and video games, offered as redemption prizes in amusement centers. Fortunately for collectors, these figures are often available through online retailers like Big Bad Toy Store. They’re also reasonably priced, usually going for $23 to $40, depending on where you look.
Sega promises more details soon, but for now, it’s hard not to wonder—could more Rockman characters be next in line for the Luminasta treatment? The announcement tweet refers to it as "Rockman Luminasta 'Rockman'," which suggests that 'Rockman Luminasta' is a dedicated sub-line rather than a one-off figure.

This is sick better than the grandista
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, this is the best the MM11 design has ever looked for me. I think it’s the nice finish and bright colors that do it.
ReplyDeletei gotta agree i like the shades
DeleteYo! This figurine is cool!
ReplyDeleteCapcom should just sell MegaMan off to Sega. We would definitely get a game.
ReplyDeleteYou'd get a copyright and an occasional update on a trademark. If you pray real hard maybe you'll get a single entry from a licensed developer like Lizardcube.
DeleteI mean, idk if SEGA would be better for Mega Man in the long term, but I’m very confident that if you sold Mega Man to SEGA today, they’d come out with a new game faster than Capcom would. If SEGA is making a new *Shinobi* of all things, they can make time for Mega Man.
DeleteYou think Sega would share the same "love" for MegaMan that they would for Sonic?
DeleteWe had our Sonic Mania "game technically developed by fans" moment and we rejected it firmly. (Street Fighter x Mega Man)
