Amazon's official Secret Level website has been gradually releasing new content ahead of the show's December 10 premiere. The Mega Man page now includes a very brief clip featuring our first detailed look at Bomb Man, who briefly appeared in a screenshot last week. The clip shows Bomb Man powering up as he looms over Mega Man. A scientist—either an unaware Dr. Light or a scheming Dr. Wily—installs a power source that corrupts Bomb Man, triggering a destructive rage.
The episode's description reads: "An icon is born. As the corrupted creations of genius inventor Dr. Light rampage through Mega City, the humblest of his inventions dreams of fighting for everlasting peace."
Clicking the "Enter Codes Here" icon leads to a page with clickable tiles that reveal logos of series featured in Secret Level and the release dates for their episode trailers. Mega Man's tile, located in the third row, second from the right, lists November 29, 2024—just a week away. This marks the trailer debut for the Mega Man episode.
Sounds like this might be a retelling of Mega Man's origins in Mega Man 1
ReplyDeleteOh, I guessed right lol. I dig his design, it's like a more mecha like robot and I think that's neat!
ReplyDeleteWait, Bomb Man's really that big? Someone else guessed (apparently correctly) it was Bomb Man. I know he's not super short, but I never thought of him as big what, 10-12 feet tall?
ReplyDeleteYeah, idk why he's that big either, usually Gutsman is the biggun.
DeleteI was going to say that, yeah. I think he was about that big in that fan film from a while back? I didn't really watch it since that sort of thing doesn't interest me.
DeleteHuh, so it was Bomb Man.
ReplyDeleteI mean I can’t complain too much, I love Bomb Man. I’ll miss his bomb belly, though.

ReplyDeleteIce Man is humanoid, so I assume at least he won't be

Deleteby oc you mean that ai art
DeleteI hate it, this is basically the bad box art version of robot masters.
ReplyDeleteIdk I think it looks pretty cool...
DeleteIt might make more sense for Napalm Man or Guts Man, but eh.
DeleteBomb Man: Act Zero
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, I guessed Airman lol. So close! Bombman makes sense tho
ReplyDeleteI kinda want to see what other Robot Masters would look like in this mechanized style. Show me a Secret Level-esque Shade Man!
ReplyDeleteI hope the rest will be revealed in the next trailer.
DeleteJust imagine a generic robot.
DeleteGeneric Disney style robots basically.
DeleteIt looks more like a rejected Iron Man armor.
ReplyDeleteIs there any reason why these show creators can't just stay true to the source material for character design? Is it that difficult?
ReplyDeleteLooking at how stylized the Sifu and Spelunky stuff seems to be, I'd guess it's just down to how they felt like doing things.
DeleteI mean...it looks pretty cool in a vacuum and definitely looks better than the actual Bomb Man IMO. Just strange to make the giant Megazord Bomb Man is all.
ReplyDeleteBomb Man big.
ReplyDeleteBombig
DeleteWumbo man.
DeleteEmbarrassing.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, looks nothing like Bomb Man.
DeleteSo the Robot Masters will be the size of the Mechs. Interesting.
