Rockman-themed UFO catcher prizes have been a staple for nearly as long as the franchise itself, with the first batch hitting machines shortly after the release of Rockman 3 in 1990. The tradition continues with confirmation of a new wave, set to appear in Sega UFO catcher machines in winter 2025.
Leading this collection is classic Rockman, featuring his iconic Rock Buster and a seated pose, perfect for display on any desk or shelf. While details on other characters in the line are yet to be revealed by Sega, they are expected to follow a similar style.
These prizes often make their way outside of Japan through specialty import retailers, so even if you can't try your luck in person, you'll likely have a chance to snag a few online.

SOOOOOO CUTEEEEE! Long wait though for this wave.
ReplyDeleteNeat. I'm guessing none of the stateside UFO catchers will have it? I never saw the one that I thought would be at Round One.
ReplyDeleteMost likely not, these are Japan only but it’s usually not too hard to find prize items on sale online shortly after release.
DeleteAh, that's unfortunate. Most of the machines here don't have anything that interest me. TwT
DeleteSame with over here. If your patient I’m sure you’ll find one for a good price after they release.
DeleteCute. I wonder how easy it'll be to grab.
ReplyDeleteIf I had him I would hold him gently and give him head pats because he deserves them
ReplyDeleteSame.
DeleteThat's a pretty far off release date. Are UFO catchers that popular where news can be announced so early?
ReplyDeleteIt doesn’t seem *that* far off. Keep in mind, Winter 2025 is December ‘24 through February ‘25.
DeleteIt do be Mega Man, and he do be sitting.
ReplyDelete…They’ve never done these with machines based off the Cossack Catcher, have they? :U
Translation "it is Mega Man, and he is sitting".
DeletePretty adorable Megaboi
ReplyDeleteSonic: You must be truly desperate to come to me for help.
ReplyDeleteMega Man: I known. 😅
DeleteMe: He had no choice. Capcom is treating him like um- idk. Like garbage?
Delete@Ash Hikari
DeleteMega Man: Ooowoowoww... :'(
Me: No- no offense Mega. You're not garbage.
Delete@Ash Hikari
DeleteSonic: Oh… You hurt his feelings.
Me: I- I didn't mean to. I think you both are super great!
DeleteMega Man: No, don't me... :'(
DeleteJust imagine, if Sega got a hold of the Mega Man franchise it would be boost to win Mega Man.
DeleteOr Trigger would rescue and hold it, just like with Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt.
DeleteOr Bandai Namco, so?
DeleteBandai Namco would turn Mega Man into another arena fighter reskin.
