Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster to Include MegaMan.EXE, Lan Hikari and Tron Bonne Costumes

Dead Rising and Mega Man have a long history together, and the tradition of outfitting Frank West in blue bomber-themed gear continues in the upcoming Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

During today's Capcom Next digital event, several new details were revealed about the remaster. The "Digital Deluxe" version will feature 17 new Capcom-themed costumes for Frank and 17 unique BGM tracks from various Capcom IPs. The "Mega Man Pack" will include costumes based on MegaMan.EXE, Lan Hikari, and Tron Bonne, along with BGMs that can be played in the shopping mall: "Running Through The Cyber World," "Hometown," and "Flutter vs. Gesellschaft."

No images of the costumes are available yet, but the teaser silhouettes give us a good idea of what's to come. I'm sure Frank will look fantastic as Tron, especially since he once pulled off a decent Roll Caskett. What an icon.

    1. Alot of people also forgot Dead Rising 1 was ported to Xbox One and PS4 and are playable on the current systems.

    2. Guess they ALSO forgot that Dead Rising 1 compiled on MT Framework have been excluded out of XBox Series X/S, a CURRENT game console system btw!
The only reason Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster can now be played on current XBox systems is that this one is re-compiled on RE Game Engine instead of the MT Framework.

    3. ^Interesting. Where does that information come from? Dead Rising 1, 2 and 2:Off The Record were re-released in 2016 for PS4 and Xbox One with no mention of anything regarding the game engine. And, while it's an Xbox One re-release and not an Xbox Series one, it is compatible with it.

  2. They rather do a bunch of unnecessary remasters and remakes than make a new Mega Man game

    1. I mean at least it's not another Resident Evil remake.

    2. While SF II has been milked to death i'd say all of the Resident Evil ports on every system and remakes of them a few years after the ports are worse.

    3. Oh wow, it's like Dead Rising and all those other things are popular, too!

    4. That doesn't justify Mega Man getting squat.

  3. Seeing Frank in Lan's outfit would be goofy lol

  4. I hope the Mega Man X costume that was in the original is still in the game. But on another side note, this remake makes no sense since Capcom ported this game to modern systems back around 2018.

    1. Didn't stop Capcom from making a re4 remake lol

    2. After the 10,000 ports of re4 on every system. Unless this one dramatically improves the first Dead Rising game I'll probably pass because I have the ps4 port from a few years ago.

  5. Who even asked for this?
