Mr. Famous made a brief appearance during during today's Capcom Spotlight to announced two brand-new features for Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection: Patch Cards and Buster Max Mode.
Patch Cards:
- All 499 Patch Cards are included! Load cards by selecting "Mega Man" from the Sub Screen in all Mega Man Battle Network games from 4 onward. There's also a rule that lets you play with or without Patch Cards in online battles!
- In the original games, you read data from real cards with the e-Reader peripheral to net in-game bonuses.
- Gain access to limited cards that were previously only available from past events and other distributions!
- Includes special Boktai tie-in cards too!
Buster MAX Mode:
- A new mode has been added that powers up Mega Buster shots by a factor of 100! You can turn the new mode on/off from the menu at any time during the story, giving you the freedom to play how you want. The mode will remain off in online battles.
In addition to the above, Capcom also confirmed the premiere date for the dubbed episodes of Mega Man NT Warrior and Mega Man NT Warrior Axess - March 21st, 10:00 AM PT. More details on thr NT Warrior marathon will be released on March 23rd at 6:00 PM PT.
For additional details and screenshots, head on over to the game's official website.
The fact that it includes the BN6 Boktai cards not only is itself amazing, but seemingly confirms that the Boktai content in the games will remain intact, including the stuff in 6 which was japan-only before now. Which is fantastic!
ReplyDeletethe only thing i need to hear about now is link navi support for exe 6!!!
ReplyDelete...though i don't expect to hear anything related to that until launch, if it's even in, considering it's basically exe6 only and postgame exclusive lol
If the Boktai chips are in, does that mean we finally get the side quest officially in english too?
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that they're not the English versions and re-localized from the Japanese versions should be telling. If not though I will be pretty upset.
DeleteDoes the physical preorder come with the DLC tracks / EXE skins or is it just digital preorders?
ReplyDeleteDo we have confirmation of whether or not the NT Warrior dub will still be posted to the English Mega Man Youtube page?
ReplyDeleteIt was very useful for me. Keep sharing such ideas in the future as well. This was actually what I was looking for, and I am glad to came here! Thanks for sharing such a

DeleteVery very excited that we have patch cards in. PvP is gonna be super dynamic
ReplyDeleteOh fuck yeah oh my god this is is exactly what i wanted!
ReplyDeleteOk I have 1 question what the heck will this mean More details on thr NT Warrior marathon will be released on March 23rd at 6:00 PM PT. If we already know Season 1, 2 and 3 are being shown (Mega Man NT Warrior Season 1 and 2 and Mega Man NT Warrior Axess aka Season 3) Then could this line about more details mean maybe we are getting an all new dub cast for Season 4 5 and 6 or at a mini Official Subs of these Season think about it if they say Mega Man NT Warrior and Mega Man NT Warrior Axess are going to be show but more details will come 2 days later well what is after Mega Man NT Warrior Axess Nothing. Because we did not get season 4 5 or 6
ReplyDeleteI really wish Capcom hadn't put Denuvo in this game. It would have been a day-1 purchase for me because of this extra content. Instead, thanks to the Denuvo I'll be waiting to pick the game up sometime after the price drops significantly. Shame on you Capcom for giving your paying customers an inferior experience.
ReplyDeleteI understand and agree with you... But I preordered the living heck out of this game. Sorry man I love Mega Man Battle Network too much and literally the only thing I see wrong with this release is Denuvo and the lack of the rest of the Battle Network games, which are more like petty gripes considering the package relatively.
DeleteThe way I see it, I think if you get a game with Denuvo, it ethically gives you carte blanche to download a copy of that game without it or take it out yourself (which can be easily done on PC, and yes, I know not everyone games on Steam Deck or a gaming rig or owns them). This is not legal counseling but just my personal thoughts. I can sort of understand Denuvo as a generic umbrella anti-cheat DRM too, mind you I am not excusing putting it in games. I am just saying I can see the appeal of a Company using it, or in other words I don't see it as THAT egregious, but yeah it sucks for obvious and already explain reasons.
^Pathetic
DeleteI am getting thso Day 1 alrwady pre-ordered.
