After two very long years, Ongaku Overdrive returns to The Abbey in Orlando, Florida with a new live show!
It's called ONGAKU 20XX: Wily's Revenge and features Bit Brigade performing a live Mega Man 2 speedrun concert, plus performances from Lame Genie, The OneUps, and a new Orlando video game band called Trash Burger. There will also be gaming setups, vendors, themed drinks, prize raffles, and more. Jackson Parodi will be on-hand as the evening's host, too!
The event kicks off on Saturday, March 5th. Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite. General advance admission is $25 or $30 at the door, day of. A "Hero Mode" ticket is available as well. For $70, you'll get a poster Atomic Rat Studios, an Ongaku Overdrive snapback hay, Ongaku Overdrive (or Squid Squad) T-Shirt, and “Special Thanks” credit on the event page + recap video.
You can read more about the event here. Have fun and stay safe!
a real shame that due to overly sensitive hearing, I'll never enjoy a concert such as this.
