Taiwan-based company eReady, makers of electric motorcycles and scooters, have revealed a Zero themed Rockman X DiVE motorcycle helmet. This is a follow-up to their open-faced X themed helmet that made the rounds back in August.
As you can see, it's also an open-faced helmet based on Zero's iconic helmet design. It sports the Rockman X DiVE logo on the side and Capcom and eReady logos on the rear. I'm sure buyers will find ways to incorporate Zero's ponytail somehow.
eReady haven't released any pricing or release date info at this time. However, they did confirm that the helmet will be distributed exclusively in Taiwan. Other stores, namely Suzuki Motorcycles Taiwan, already started advertising it. eReady may not be the only distributor, in other words.
It's a shame these won't be coming stateside. But if Capcom and their license partners saw some demand, would this be something you'd buy? Let us know in the comments below!
Nah, not much use for a motorcycle helmet. Not with that logo.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it just looks so dumb putting that logo on there. Just saying Megaman X would suffice vs low quality Dive. Really, Dive is the best X can do nowadays? Pathetic. I'm real tired of it.
DeleteI'd rather there be NO logo, really. I know why they do it, but put it on the inside or something. It looks stupid with a logo plastered on it.
DeleteAgreed. I assume the point was to let people know it is from MMX, but either way doesn't affect me. Not like I buy merch anyways. I only care about main timeline MM games. All I see lately is merch, people posting random art on Twitter, and other repetitive boring nonsense. People talking about Taisen, yet for some odd reason, Capcom isn't being smart by letting us know what Taisen is by now or teasing it. Leaving us hanging isn't very nice and will only make many assume the worst.
DeleteDamn! That looks a lot better than I expected.
ReplyDeleteAgain the forehead gem thing is way to the top
ReplyDeleteA licensed motorcycle helmet based on the the Mega Man IP was always something I thought about back in the day when I had my busa in the garage. Glad to see it finally coming to fruition now. I'll definitely go after one of those if I ever get myself another motorcycle in the future.
ReplyDeleteAbout Zero's ponytail, I can already picture a girl or a dude with long blond hair, carving a hole on the back for the hair to pass through lol and it would be really cool to see imo.
They should make a Vile helmet instead
