The summer festival is hitting Rockman X DiVE a little earlier this year. Last year's Fireworks and Lantern Festival took place in September; it brought us "Festive Zero", "Yukata Pallette" and a few weapons.
This year, however, the stage is being rerun this week. It'll feature "Festive Leviathan" and the weapon "Thunder Sword".

Festive Leviathan's first active skill is Splash Laser. It fires a laser from her head jewel and releases that which explode on impact or after certain period of time. One of her passive skills will inflict "chilled" status targets to reduce movement speed.
Her second active skill is Go Fish, which launches something that resembles her Armed Phenomenon transformation from Mega Man Zero 2. It ignores terrain and enables Leviathan to gain a shield.
The Fireworks and Lantern Festival 2021 event stage starts this Wednesday through September 1st.
Huh. Ya know, I have no complaints about this one. It's a cute outfit and I think it looks nice on her. I do have an unreleated complaint, however.

I took a headcount at the unofficial Fandom Wiki. If their numbers are right, there are 6 B-Rank characters, 13 A-Rank characters, and a whopping 60 S-Rank characters!! That's about 74% of the available characters!
Look, I understand that this game needs to make money to be successful, but this is just ridiculous. A lot of the S-Ranks are reskins – or "alternate" versions – too. Why can't these characters just be classified as reskins, like Yukata Pallette? Why do they need their own character slot? And why do they need to be S-Rank?! Augh!!
All that said… this isn't taking away from my enjoyment of the game. Even on a touchscreen, I'm having a lot of fun. You can do quite a lot with the free currency they give you!
because it's a gacha game. people rolling for those characters would have been pissed if they weren't at least S-Rank, especially knowing how unbalanced the game still is.

DeleteLet's start a petition to get Plum from Battle & Chase, Berkana from Soul Eraser, and Shu, (with Apo, and Dah) from Legends in the game. That's some "waifu potential", there!
