On the heels of a very successful pre-order campaign, Artec has confirmed that Making Mega Man: Code Legend is Amazon-bound. Additional units will be sold exclusively through the company's Amazon US store for $259.99. They're expected to ship between late September~early October. Reserve your copy here!
What's Making Mega Man? If you're just catching up, it's an educational tool kit developed by Artec and licensed by Capcom. It teaches aspiring programmers how to make their own Mega Man games. You can even create motion-controlled Mega Man games with the included modular controller, too! It's quite unique. Check out the official overview trailer for a good look.

Already ordered my copy from Amazon way before they made their tweet! Thanks Artec! :)
ReplyDeleteI'll see my copy in 2-3 months, apparently.
Yikes! No thanks. Too expensive.
ReplyDeleteI mean.... if you think about it, that price sounds pretty reasonable. Given all the equipment included in the kit. All the pieces, then all the instruction manuals, and all the graphics in the kit, etc. Plus, all the things they had to go through on Kickstarter, so it's pretty fair.
DeleteIn a way, it's basically buying a new console, but for education. I say it's well worth it as long as you have enough money to get it.
Nah. I don't think so. It costs more than it is worth. It is very nice, but it is terribly overpriced, indeed.

DeleteNo, piracy has nothing to do with it.
DeleteOof that price. Cool tho
ReplyDeleteJust a quick update:
ReplyDeleteAmazon now has a delivery status for August 11-12! That's earlier than expected! They even sent out e-mail confirmation of this delivery update. Nice!
