Previously teased via a holographic card attached to the Zero model kit, Dimension Studio has finally revealed their Copy-X model kit during this weekend's "Wonder Festival 2020" in Shanghai.
Beyond the two pictures shown above taken by Weibo user 78动漫网, there are no further details available at this time. The Zero model kit was announced last year around this time as well and released at the end of July this year. Perhaps we are looking at a similar release schedule.

Thanks to Weibo user 模玩地带 we have a look at the model kit's back and the effects that will come packed with him.
So, which ears are canon to Copy X? The Zero series dialogue portrait which pretty much has him with X series styled ears? The ears on the sprite which are these odd swooping lines? Or these, which are pretty much Zero's ears but shorter and they bend around the head?

Yea there are still too many gaps in the official artwork, especially where Zero series is concerned.
DeleteI'd wager the sprites are correct and the portrait is wrong. The 3D model images of the one game show it to be similar to the model above.
Nice they are doing one. Don't plan to get it, but for those who want one, there you go.
Maybe Copy X is just schizophrenic and can never decide on which helmet design he likes.

ReplyDeleteThis might be the best chance to have models of the 4 guardians. If this one sell well enough, they can easely repurpose the base to make Harpuia or phantom.
ReplyDeleteI would wager that the Four Guardian kits are already being (or have been) sculpted, and that the base/frame for these figures was specifically designed so that they could easily iterate on it.
