the bad box art for the NES games really make sense now
ReplyDeleteI was just going to say the same thing. They should've given him a handheld laser gun to complete the effect.
Deletethey are certainly taking an interesting approach with the character designs. it makes me wonder what the tone of the story will ultimately be
ReplyDeleteSorry, but this rendition of Mega man looks "Unpleasant" to say the least...u.u
ReplyDeleteIs this cover number 112?
ReplyDeleteNo amount of variant covers has made Mega Man look good.
ReplyDeleteAlso the Ruby-Spears Mega Man X eyebrows look terrible.
lol When do they announce the winner of the ugliest Megaman cover contest?!
ReplyDeletebad box art is the winnerrrrrr
DeletePlease, Boom. No more variant covers. You're making things look worse and worse.
ReplyDeleteI just don't get it. The art on the cannon is fine, even looks pretty neat. But the face.
ReplyDeleteSeems like they are trying to capture the essence of the box art for Mega Man 1 on NES.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good piece of art, but my lord, what is up with companies trying to make Mega Man look as little like Mega Man as possible? Have we learned nothing since 1987?
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the Jazz Music Stops meme.
ReplyDeleteWonder when the previews will come out.....
What’s with this cover? You can’t just put a helmet on the Gerber Baby and call it a day...
ReplyDeleteOh, but they did!
