TruForce "Ver. Ke" Mega Man X Reissue Coming to Big Bad Toystore

If you missed out on picking up TruForce's Ver. Ke X the first time around, Big Bad Toystore have begun accepting pre-orders for an exclusive reissue. It's reasonably priced at $79.99, too. That's far, far cheaper than what you'll find on eBay or secondhand sellers.

You can snag your pre-order here. It's expected to ship sometime in June!

  1. Aw heck yeah! Thanks for the info.

  2. I would love to see Ver.KE X, Zero, and Axl in a future game one day. Not likely to be featured in X9, but maybe as a DLC costume?

    1. Still holding out for Sigma over here. Bet Zero would look rad, too.

    2. Are you aware that these designs (for X and Zero) are featured in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite?

  3. This was my first figure made by Sentinel, and I've been hooked on their designs and engineering ever since. I've got a bunch of Sentinel/1000toys figures now, and some of them I bought just because I wanted to have more experience with their products. I think it's safe to say Sentinel is my favorite figure company right now, and have been since this figure was released.

I believe this figure is a must-have for any die-hard Mega Man collector.

I'm kind of surprised they're sticking with the TruForce branding. If some accessory which had not been included during the first run was included with this reissue: I'd not hesitate to buy another. I'm curious if there will be any differences between this version and the first run, however minor.

    1. I believe you are mistaken this figure for another or just who made it? This particular model was made by 'TruForce Collectables'.

unfortunately speaking since this models release which was their first figure to make along with 3 varient colors. They haven't made anything or really been heard of since.
I do agree this is a very nice figure to own though. I'm curious if this means anything or not with the special re-release.

    2. MegaZX30,

Your half right. TruForce did the design and Kickstarter. The figures were manufactured by Sentinel (in China... Woo...).

Kinda makes you wonder what kind of behind the curtains shenanigans happened between Capcom, TruForce and Sentinel to get to the point where they made a separate Falcon Armor...

    3. Sentinel did all the work. Truforce really only distributed it and put their branding on it.

    4. No, I am not mistaken; this is a Sentinel-designed and manufactured figure which was commissioned by a company calling itself TruForce.

    5. Can we please curb the thinly-veiled racism here? "(in China... Woo...)"

Almost 20% of the world's population lives in China, or 1/5 of all humans. China has an incredible manufacturing capacity. To say that something is sub-par because it's made in China is just racist and irrational.

I own many figures made in China; Sentinel and 1000toys use Chinese factories, and they are world-class products without peer; Figma -- considered by many to be the gold-standard for 1/12 scale figures -- are also manufactured in China, even though they are designed in Japan. Sure, China churns-out a lot of crap, but that doesn't mean the entire country is incapable of quality. Americans manufacture crap and ship it all over the world too, but that doesn't mean absolutely everything Made in America is garbage.

All your beloved Mega Armor kits from the 90's were made in China too, "Shrap".

    6. Nothing I said is racist.
Keep your self righteous indignation to yourself.
I won't waste another second on you.

Oh, and the first wave Mega Armor... Made in Japan. Better quality too.

    7. And one more note: China isn't a Race. I can't believe I even have to point that out.

    8. So you get to suggest an entire country -- the largest country in the world, with the largest percentage of humans on the planet, which handles more manufacturing than any country on the planet, even more than the next few biggest countries combined -- can't make a single quality good, but my criticism of that is "indignant"? Gosh, making a sweeping generalization about 1/5 of global population sounds totally fair.

You're right: nothing more needs to be said here.

    2. Hey! It was made by Reploid_21XX but the images themselves are from Rockman X DiVE

  5. I'm lucky to have all of them inclusing the prototype variant of the figure. That figure alone is worth between $500-$1000 now. And having the full set is worth a lot of money... I would pick up this reissue if there was somethng new with it or difference

    1. It's not worth $1000 dollars.
Some people just charge ridiculous amounts with the hope that some stupid person buys it at that price.
They will sit on that for quite a long time.

    2. The ones on E Bay have sold for that amount and so has the bundles for all the figures. Plus the fact that one one figure is very limited

    3. https://www.ebay.com/itm/193377685369 and here's one bundle. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/114176125274 in the past there were other bundles ranging between 1,000 and 2,000 that have also been sold

    4. So what I am seeing from those is the "worth" is around 500.
      Which is subjective.

I've been looking for a Gaea Armor Mega Armor figure (non-plated) and all I ever see is people posting it for 400 bucks. I ain't paying that. Someone might, but I'm not. And they have been sitting on those models for a long time. Many of them are in that range. And all I can think is "really?"

Especially since the country that will not be named will make another batch of ripoffs once they have a reason to do so, such as X9 coming out.

    5. The Gaea Armor Figure is from a different line up of figures. Tru Force only made 4 variants of their design. The Prototype variant is very limited, almost impossible to get or find now. I have only seen 5 on E Bay during the past 4 years. The other 4 that I saw were in with the Bundles and those sold for 1,000 and 2,000. That one figure alone is around 1,000 now. E Bay Sold listings says it all. Those bundles didn't last long. The one that sold recently was pre owned, not new in box. I been keeping a watch on these figures for a while now just in case if I ever want to sell my whole set.

    6. I'm aware they are different lines... I was pointing out the over inflated values of product.
I don't think a copy of the original Rockman 8 soundtrack CD is worth 390 dollars either.

    7. Of course it's subjective; things are worth what people are willing to pay.

If someone paid $1,000 for a single figure: that number becomes part of that figure's value range. That same reason is why people in the art world sometimes sell famous paintings, and buy them from themselves anonymously; it raises the value of anything else that artist did, and it's all just because of one big sale.

If it's not worth it to you personally: that's one thing, but there are people to whom $1,000 is nothing.

Looking at the Kickstarter page's numbers: there are most definitely less than 1000 of these "Kickstarter exclusive" color variants in the world -- more likely around 500 from what I can tell -- and they're not going to make more of them.

I've got one, and I wouldn't sell it for $1,000.
