Mega Man: Chaos Protocol, the crossover event between Nintendo's Dragalia Lost and Mega Man, starts today and with it, new "Wyrmprints" have been added to the game featuring brand-new Mega Man art.
For the uninitiated, Wyrmprints are essentially cards that you equip to your characters to improve Strength, HP, Might and gain abilities. Furthermore, by raising the level and stats cap ("unbinding") of the Wyrmprints, they change their artwork and new story bit unlocks.
Thanks to the Dragalia Lost Wikia for the illustrations and story of each Wyrmprint:
Wily Warriors: Bubble & Wood
- Stage 1: In his bid for world domination, Dr. Wily built eight robots designed for combat. Two such creations—Wood Man and Bubble Man—saw each other as true comrades-in- arms, and experts in their respective areas.
- Stage 2: Each of Wily's robots lies in wait for the perfect opportunity to clash with their enemy. Countless foes stand ready throughout forests and caves, while the waters are riddled with traps.
- Stage 3: Dr. Wily's robots each wield weapons that utilize their specialties. Leaf Shield excels in both offense and defense, while Bubble Lead looses bubbles on unpredictable paths. Stopping these two won't be easy!
- Stage 4: Each of Dr. Wily's robots has a weakness. Wood Man's body is, naturally, weak to fire; a defect in Bubble Man's systems makes him unable to walk underwater. Luckily, the two can work together to cover each other.
- Stage 5: Bubble Lead puts out fires, and Leaf Shield keeps enemies from getting too close. There's no weakness teamwork can't beat!
Wily Warriors: Air & Crash
- Stage 1: In his bid for world domination, Dr. Wily built eight robots designed for combat. Two such creations—Air Man and Crash Man—felt a unique affinity for each other.
- Stage 2: Each of Wily's robots lies in wait for the perfect opportunity to clash with their enemy. Air Man's impregnable base is suspended high in the sky, and Crash Man's factory is crisscrossed with pipes.
- Stage 3: Dr. Wily's robots each wield weapons that utilize their specialties: Air Shooter can cut through even the toughest of armor, while Crash Bomber can blast through the thickest of walls. Stopping these two won't be easy!
- Stage 4: Each of Dr. Wily's robots has a weakness. Air Man is weak to fluttering leaves, while Crash Man can't take wind blowing through the gaps in his armor. Luckily, the two can work together to cover each other.
- Stage 5: Crash Bomb can clear away obstacles, and Air Shooter cancels out enemy attacks. There's no weakness teamwork can't beat!
Wily Warriors: Metal & Quick
- Stage 1: In his bid for world domination, Dr. Wily built eight robots designed for combat. Two such creations—Metal Man and Quick Man—were acutely aware of the other's prowess.
- Stage 2: Each of Wily's robots lies in wait for the perfect opportunity to clash with their enemy. Conveyor belts in Metal Man's base send intruders to their doom, and massive lasers vaporize foes in Quick Man's domain.
- Stage 3: Dr. Wily's robots each wield weapons that utilize their specialties. Metal Blade can cut through anything at all, and no one can escape the strikes of Quick Boomerang. Stopping these two won't be easy!
- Stage 4: Each of Dr. Wily's robots has a weakness. Metal Man is sensitive to the Mega Buster, while Quick Man's systems have unintended side effects. Luckily, the two can work together to cover each other.
- Stage 5: Metal Man and Quick Man launch their attacks in waves to wipe their enemies out before they even know what's coming. There's no weakness teamwork can't beat!
Wily Warriors: Flash & Heat
- Stage 1: In his bid for world domination, Dr. Wily built eight robots designed for combat. Two such creations—Flash Man and Heat Man—felt an especially strong sense of camaraderie.
- Stage 2: Each of Wily's robots lies in wait for the perfect opportunity to clash with their enemy. The floors are slicked in Flash Man's area, while blocks appear and disappear in Heat Man's lava-ridden base.
- Stage 3: Dr. Wily's robots each wield weapons that utilize their specialties. Time Stopper freezes foes in their tracks, while Atomic Fire gives Heat Man some serious firepower. Stopping these two won't be easy!
- Stage 4: Each of Dr. Wily's robots has a weakness. Flash Man is susceptible to explosions, while Heat Man loathes water. Luckily, the two can work together to cover each other.
- Stage 5: Flash Man uses Time Stopper to freeze everyone but himself and his partner in place, while Heat Man uses Atomic Fire to reduce enemies to ruin. There's no weakness teamwork can't beat!
Roll On
- Stage 1: "A nice young lady came to stay at the inn with family today. She said she was from another world, and they were looking for a way home! What a responsible little lass." - From the innkeeper's diary"
- Stage 2: "I gave the girl a map and some tools for her journey. Oh, and a basket too! She insisted on making me lunch as thanks, and by golly was it ever delicious!" - From the innkeeper's diary"
- Stage 3: "The group waved back to me as they left— even that clever little pup! I forgot to ask, but I figured that nice old man is those kids' grandfather. I wish them all the best!" - From the innkeeper's diary"
- Stage 4: "As they were preparing to leave, the boy whispered to me that they were after some sort of green object that flies through the air! Did he mean this region's dragon?" - From the innkeeper's diary"
- Stage 5: "If they have the dragon's guidance, then there's little reason to worry. I will pray that they can return home to their "other world" with many wonderful memories." - From the innkeeper's diary"
Mega Friends
- Stage 1: Dr. Wily brainwashed the Five Greatwyrms! All hope seems lost, until a hero from another world appears to save the day! His name? Mega Man!
- Stage 2: We're off to chase down some clues about the Greatwyrms! Gee, the prince and that Mega guy have sure gotten close fast. They must have a lot in common!
- Stage 3: Whoa, we found one of the Greatwyrms! The prince and Mega Man are meeting it head-on—ohmigosh, they're AMAZING! They're an unbeatable combo, the dragon's totally done for!
- Stage 4: We hit up the rest of the dragons after that, and those two heroes kept up their hero-ing! It's pretty cool, watching two people become best friends. Not that Mega Man could ever replace ME!
- Stage 5: Okay, they finally found that Wily Machine! Now it's time for the showdown... Rock and roll, you two! Show 'em what hero-ing is all about!
