  1. It's so annoying that these didn't release in hardcover format to begin with forcing those that wanted it but bought the soft cover already to buy the book twice or at least have it gifted or something.

    1. Forcing them?

    2. "forcing those that wanted it but bought the soft cover already to buy the book twice"

Unless there's some magic way of unbuying something (return policies aside, and even then if you buy something, return it, you now are forced in the position of buying it twice if you ever decide to buy it again). The force isn't the buying, the force in this context is getting it basically twice if you do decide to get it.

      It's basic logic.

      Something is created and sold.

      It is bought by person.

Said something is slightly modified and sold again.

If said person wants modified one, have to buy 2 times, two, 1 + another 1 = 2, 1+1 TWO.

It is logically impossible for someone to have already bought one then buy this one and not have that counted as two purchases, hence force "twice" on those that WANT but have previous version. NOT force as in make people buy... I can't believe I have to explain that.

  2. Good to see that now the entire Official Complete Works series is finally reprinted in its entirety.

  3. Were there ever ZX and Legends Official Complete Works? If not then I'd say we're long overdue for those.

    1. Probably not enough material to pad out a Dash/Legends complete works, unless infused with a bunch of new or supplemental work not related to the official concept art and general art work for the series so far. Judging from past OCW and what has been released for Dash such as the Capcom Special Selections, Design Works and such.

ZX is probably in the same boat but likely has more material to work with from what I've seen, due to the nature of those games just being inundated with art within the games themselves, on top of promotional, concept, official work etc.

That said two things could be solutions to this. 1. Combine the two in one OCW, that tho would be jarring to me since the two have such vastly different style artwork-2 Make a robust Legends 3 (and finish it) and hopefully the art that gets produced from that game will justify a standalone OCW and I don't see why it won't, then do the same for ZX3, heck bundle them with a special edition of the game why not..

  4. I hope there's plenty of artwork for Omega-Xis in there.

  5. The only thing I hate about these is the God awful logo designs. It's a significant downgrade to their original releases. Why did they put 0 effort into the logos? I understand having to use the localize names, but could they not have done better than the NES with a lazy gradient fill?
