A whole slew of new Mii Fighter costumes are coming to
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, director Masahiro Sakurai
announced. And yes; while the
Sans costume may be today's big show stopper, we cannot discount the reveal of two
Mega Man-themed costumes: Zero (Sword Fighter) and Proto Man (Gunner). No sign of the X or EXE Mii Fighter costumes, though. Hmm...?
Anyway, these Mii Fighter costumes will be available later today when
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 5.0 drops
. Watch today's Smash Direct for all the details!
I could've sworn Zero's Mii Costume was in Smash 3DS/Wii U, along with X & EXE.
ReplyDeleteProto Man's costume was also in Smash 4 as well.
DeleteThe Zero Mii costume was actually in Smash for Wii U/3DS, too. I wonder why we didn't get the costumes for EXE and X, back too, though. I hope we'll get them again eventually. I've really been hoping for their return.
ReplyDeleteNothing to say about EXE being missing, too?
ReplyDeleteProto Man is now on equal footing with Sans Undertale.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the X and EXE outfits; those will probably be resold later to pad out the next set of Mii costumes.
he is our boi!
DeleteI don't care Sans. Proto Man and Zero are awesome Mii costumes.
ReplyDeletethe protoman costume is neat, i'm glad that it's back.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to see them as costumes, but I can't help but feel that Proto Man would've been a good Echo Fighter for Mega Man. Oh well...
ReplyDeleteThey already confirmed that no character from games already represented in the roster would be added, so we knew from the begining that Proto Man would'nt be playable
Deletedamn, that means no Bass either then...
DeleteOh, is that how that works? Well, RIP Sonic fans who wanted Shadow I guess. :P
DeleteThat Proto Man costume actually looks pretty convincing!
ReplyDeleteThose look cool, would have been nice to get the actual characters though.
