To commemorate the first anniversary of Dragalia Lost – Nintendo and Cygames' immensely popular mobile RPG – the game's director, Yuji Okada, announced a special collaboration with the Mega Man series dubbed "Mega Man: Chaos Protocol". The event is expected to take place during an undisclosed winter date. The announcement was made during the First Anniversary Dragalia Digest stream seen here (relevant portion at 48:40 minutes in).
More news on the crossover event will be shared during "This Month in Dragalia Lost" on October 1st. So yeah; that's about all there is on this subject for today. Exciting stuff! I guess you should go on and download Dragalia Lost now, yes?

Just started playing this game because of this announcement. Reeeeally good game so far. Basically Lunar Knights mobile as far as gameplay.
ReplyDeleteI hope they get Cole Howard or Ian Corlett to voice Mega Man in the English version. Vincent Tong is already in Dragalia Lost, so it wouldn't be as cool to have him do the Aki voice.

Hmmm, I find it strange that Capcom is now trying to slap Mega Man on to random Mobile games. Now I'm expecting the blue bomber to appear in Candy Crush or even FGO.
ReplyDeleteI mean, Dragalia Lost is at least licensed by Nintendo, so there's that.
DeleteAlso, the company, Cygames, did do crossovers with Capcom in the past.
One of their other games, Granblue Fantasy, had a crossover with Street Fighter a while back.
