Rockman & Rockman X 5-In-1 Box Set Now Available to Pre-order
Both Amazon Japan and import specialty retailers Ami Ami and Nin Nin Game have begun accepting pre-orders for the Rockman & Rockman X 5-in-1 box set for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
As discussed previously, this set contains five games: Rockman Classics 1, Rockman Classic Collection 2, Rockman X Anniversary Collection 1, Rockman X Anniversary Collection 2, and Rockman 11. The box set also comes with extra space to be filled by the Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, a bonus Rockman 11 script, an acrylic 30th anniversary print, and an exclusive package that will feature brand-new artwork by Ryuji Higurashi and Keiske Mizuno.
For Nintendo Switch owners and collector's of rare Mega Man/Rockman goods, you'll be pleased to know that the Switch version of Rockman Classic Collection 2 will, for the very first (and possibly only time), be printed on a physical cartridge. I suppose it goes without saying, but if you have even an inkling of an interest in owning that, you'll want to get your pre-order in ASAP.
And yes; Amazon Japan's listings say that they don't ship outside of Japan. That's not exactly true. They do ship outside Japan but that "warning" will be lifted closer to release. No worries. Also, I should mention that if you order from Amazon Japan, you'll get a digital wallpaper for your phone and PC!
The Rockman & Rockman X 5-in-1 box set ships December 19th, 2019.
Preordered mine from CdJapan, I had some coupons so it was cheaper.
ReplyDeleteAaand... it's time for me to get them. I passed on the collections last year because my wallet was'nt feeling very well back then, but now i'm better.
ReplyDeleteIf anyone is interested in the three acrylic pieces you can use Rinkya a JP proxy service to get them for you through e-Capcom. For reference I live in the US and picked up all three. It cost me: Item Price 13608 Yen($132.12) Commission $22.00 Domestic Fees $4.85 Paid $158.97. As opposed to $200 a piece aftermarket from Yahoo Japan on the older acrylic pieces from last year. Happy hunting!
ReplyDeleteIsn't this the first time Rockman Classic Collection 2 got a physical release on Switch?

ReplyDeleteIntriguing, seeing as Collection 2 is finally getting a physical release on Switch. But then again, it's Capcom, there will probably be a Super Ultra Collection with all current collections plus Zero/ZX and Battle Network in a year.
