"Mega Man Grin" Figure Going On Sale During Comic-Con
Ron English's highly anticipated, officially-licensed "Mega Man "Grin"figure will debut during the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, the artist announced. The figure will be sold exclusively at an off-site pop-up shop three blocks from the convention center between July 17th through July 20th. It will be located at 1037 J Street.
No word yet on price or the status of Ron English's equally interesting Proto Man and Zero interpretations. I guess you'll have to go down there and find out for yourself...

lmao wtf xD
ReplyDeleteWeird choice of design
Well, at least my wallet is safe since it's an easy pass. I'm surprised it was more than a showpiece.
ReplyDeletethe eyes look messed up too, particularly his left eye kinda falling down
ReplyDeleteI guess you could say you have a... good eye for detail!
DeleteThat looks horrifying.
ReplyDelete"highly anticipated"
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing. Highly anticipated? Kinda doubt that.
DeleteNot touching it absolutely 0 interest.
ReplyDeleteWhy not put a purple cape on him so he can be copy robot from Powered Up?
ReplyDeleteNo.
ReplyDeleteThe art on the box look like normal pic minus the teeth. The actual product look really creepy, both teeth and eyes
ReplyDeleteYeah... no, I'm good. I'd rather not have this thing staring at me while I sleep. :P
ReplyDeleteSurprised they didn't try a Sonic Grin with all the trashy creepy-pastas out there.
ReplyDeleteThey did. They have a grinning yogi bear toy. Look up the site toys r evil. It's as messed up as you think.
DeleteAbsolute pass.
ReplyDeleteOn my wallet, not my soul.
Face design apart, this is actually a pretty well done figure, but really only a handful of people will want it. I know there's a market for creepy, but here we're getting really specific.
ReplyDeleteCapcom at it again with their BS.
ReplyDeleteExcept it's not from Capcom. it is from Ron english.
DeleteLiterally as inspired as something an outcast kid in middle/highschool drew. Does it come with a "Careful with all that edge" warning on the back? Maybe the "artist" can do a 2.0 which has bloodsplatters, a spiked collar, and a middle finger hand attachment. And a "Parental Advisory" sticker on the box.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is trying to be edgy, more like creepy in a "funny" way. It looks weird all the same, but the difference is that Edgy take itself much more seriousely.
DeleteI kinda want to modify his mouth and fix his eyes, then give him a tiny face mask. I'm still up for a Kuchisake-onna Mega Man.
ReplyDeleteI know what I'll be putting on my front door for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteCursed imagen
