A final thank you and shout out to Team Fully Charged. Thanks for making a fun show!
Well, I knew this series isnt the most complex but the last episodes summary should have spoiled that much xD.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, this series was fun for all intents and hopefully it inspires other Mega Man incarnations
This show's biggest strike against it were it's first 10 episodes, while not all were bad, the bad early episodes left a bad taste in many fans mouth even when the show improved a lot of people already made up their minds regarding it due to the first half of its run.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. It also didn't help that Cartoon Network's shitastic scheduling made it hard to gain any viewers. In general, most people still don't know this show existed.
Delete@anon1, that was my impression, too. Seems like the only people who know about it are thoses who had heard of it before it air, that is Megaman fan who follow MM related news.
DeleteBUT WHAT DOES CUT MAN DO?
ReplyDeleteGiven Cartoon Network's abysmal treatment of the show, it's very unlikely they'll order a second season. The good news is that DHX is a resourceful company. I've noticed Fully Charged has only aired in Canada, the UK and the US. Nothing in Australia, or any non-English market. I'm hoping that's because DHX has signed a secondary global release with Netflix. They've done that with a few shows they've made. One example is The Deep, which airs on TV in Australia, Canada and the UK, but is a Netflix series everywhere else. That show is in its third season. Similar stories for Degrassi Next Class and the Inspector Gadget reboot they produced.
ReplyDelete(Disney XD will premiere the show next month South East Asia, but in Asian markets Fully Charged is distributed by Dentsu, not DHX.)
I REALLY hope the show moves to Disney XD in other territories, specially the US. I do not know the laws of tv distribution, so tell me if that's impossible.
DeleteReally, just because it has cartoon on the name doesn't mean Cartoon Network is the ONLY place to air cartoons, even if they are reedeming themselves with upcoming new shows, they still have a lot to compensate, also, Disney Channel has been stepping its game with animation.
And I don't want Netflix, they are hoggin all the good stuff and its getting annoying
Disney XD in the US is a dead channel. Even Pokemon gets lower viewership than Mega Man does on CN. The only benefit it would receive is that Disney would actually acknowledge its existence.
Delete"Lord Obsidian"? "Lighthouse"? "Namagem"? "Frenemy"? I only watched the first few episodes, which were bad enough, but this sounds worse than Ian Flynn's writing. Disgraceful.
ReplyDeleteActually the show has improved a lot since those first 10 episodes.
DeleteI've said this before, but… "I remember Namagem. He's a pretty cool community member. Wink."
DeleteAnd, "Frenemy" is a real slang term (short for "friendly enemy"). It's kind of like a version of "friendly nemesis," but smooshing together those words ("fremesis?") doesn't sound quite as good.
Seriously, what's your problem? There's nothing disgraceful about them. Do you even know what that word means, or are you just throwing around negative sounding terms for the hell of it? I can't believe you live in this era and have never heard the word frenemy before.
DeleteThus, we've come full circle. From 2017, to now.
ReplyDelete(Don't know what I mean? Watch the final episode and be amazed. I certainly was!)
Got to see the last 2 part finale.
ReplyDeleteMega Man: Fully Charged had a rough start but it was pretty good overall. I actually hope we get a second season.
I wish this got a second season as CN's response to this show developing a cult following.
ReplyDeleteThis show has steadily improved over time. I think a second season could help steer it in a direction that will up the stakes more.
ReplyDeleteWhen will it air in other countries? (Cartoon Network is region locked)
ReplyDeleteim sad that one of my favuorite charactors is gonna end hoppfally they will make a season 2
