Mega Man: Fully Charged Officially-Licensed Costume Available to Pre-Order
If you have a little one at home who wants to dress up as Mega Man/Aki Light this summer, look no further. An officially-licensed Mega Man: Fully Charged kids costume is due out in July for $35.99.
Manufactured by Disguise, the costume includes a helmet-mask (not an actual helmet) and a "3D" Mega Buster sewn into the jump suit. Pre-orders are available via Amazon.
Interestingly, Disguise has set aside an entire brand section for Mega Man. This could be indicative of future officially-licensed Mega Man costumes, Fully Charged or not. I suppose it's something to keep an eye out for.
Thanks, Rock Miyabi!

eww no thanks.
ReplyDeletestill, creative minds could find it to be a handy base for making other costumes.
I don't think I've ever seen a cheap kids Halloween costume look better than the source material.
ReplyDeleteWow what a shitty yet meh/okay costume people might as well be crafting a show accurate version of this costume because they do not want that
ReplyDeleteAll this money been wasted on fully charged amazes me; the series, action figures, now this costume... When it could all be invested in doing an awesome anime style megaman like the ones in Megaman x4 cut scenes or Day of Sigma OVA, or in classic robot masters action figures like from sentinel 4 inch line... such a waste
ReplyDeleteWhy is it always anime with you random anons? -_-
DeleteThere are a lot of people who don't like Fully Charged. It'd make more sense to ask if any money from Japan goes into Fully Charged outside of licensing because I'm not sure if the existence or non-existence of Fully Charged would have an impact on creating a more faithful Mega Man animated series.
DeleteConsidering how incredibly toxic and self-deprecating the animation industry is in Japan, you can forget about an anime series. Not until they make things fair for young animators. So no Anon 1, there will be no anime style anything for Mega Man.

DeleteThat has absolutely nothing to do with a Mega Man series being made in Japan. They're not suddenly gonna go "wait we've got a dangerous work ethic we can't make this Mega Man series!" They're not going to make it because from what I understand, it's not as popular in Japan as it is in the US.
Delete"They're not going to make it because from what I understand, it's not as popular in Japan as it is in the US."
DeleteAnd what's the basis for that claim?
I thought I remembered hearing the sales historically haven't been as good in Japan for the classic series. Maybe I'm wrong but I was under the impression that was the case for a while now?
DeleteLooks like I might have gotten things reversed and that he's more popular in Japan than the US. I'm Confused Man, now, and my memory is hot garbage.
DeleteLol anime.
