Confirmed on today's
Nintendo Direct, the
Mega Man 11 Amiibo and the original Mega Man Amiibo can be used to receive E-Tanks and "other useful" once per day in-game. And that's it.
So yeah; not much else to say than that! I was hoping Amiibo would be used to unlock Switch-exclusive challenges... but alas.

Whew, glad physical DLC doesn't strongarm you to purchase it if you want the full experience of the game.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather there not be exclusive content to one system. Spread the love equally.
ReplyDeleteLike amiibos and junk? Well how would they spread that equally across all systems or platforms?
DeleteAnd even though I hate to say this as I can't stand Nintendo or its fans generally, Mega Man will do best in that market.
Who says “I can’t stand Nintendo” ? Especially if you are into MegaMan. Like could you picture someone play MegaMan on NES growing up late 80s/early 90s & was just like, “uggh, I hate Nintendo” out of nowhere.
DeleteI hope the new mee'b is sold outside the bundle so I can get some to mod.
ReplyDeleteWon't happen... The same thing happened to the gold Mega Man Amiibo. It was a exclusive and was never sold separately from the 3DS Legacy bundle.
DeleteThank God!
ReplyDeleteThink they did'nt want to put on content that would'nt be availiable to the other platforms.
ReplyDeleteGold amiibo, gold armor, gold amiibo, gold armor, gold amiibo, gold armor, come ooooon!
ReplyDeleteWell that's a few bricks short of a load.
