I'm a little surprised this didn't happen sooner but here it is: Funko (yes, that Funko) are developing official Mega Man Pez dispensers. Three variants are in the works – classic blue, red Magnet Missile, and a GameStop exclusive green Gyro Attack. The latter glows in the dark!
All three dispensers are hitting retailers in October, just in time for Halloween!

Ceeral, I was fine with. Cereal's a pretty original concept. These Pez dispensers, though? Not so much.

DeleteThese would be almost appealing if not for the creepy Funko eyes. They need to stop using those, they make all their products hideous.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the eyes don't work for Mega Man, but (obviously, as their success as a company indicates) Funko Pop! eyes do work for other characters; it depends on each original character design, and I don't agree that their eye design "makes all their products hideous." Mega Man's eyes are pretty important to his design, and that's why I think the Funko eyes specifically don't work for him.
