ReplyDeleteHave we seen anything about Proto Man or Bass yet? I'm getting a smidge nervous Capcom is going to leave them out or lock them into their own DLC campaign. Personally I don't like it when the characters are in separate storylines; I like the interactions between them.

DeleteAs long as they exist within reach other's stories, that'd be awesome. I wonder if this is why Proto and Bass are included in Mega Man's Final Smash now, rather than Zero.
DeleteHis blue hair in MM4 I always kinda took as a technical limitations for the larger sprite based scenes in the opening. Brown hair appeared in a lot of adaptations such as the Ruby Spears cartoon as well as the archie Comics series. Within the games, with VII probably standing out the most for being the most detailed we ever saw him without a helmet as well as all in game instances in the 8 bit games his hair was black.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the 23 has significance? I've seen Rock wearing 23 multiple times. I wondered if it was a pun on him being the older brother. Ni-San...like, Oniisan? I dunno. But we have Rockman day on 6/9, so there's that...
