Lots of toy news this weekend! An armorless Mega Man X Nendoroid, a 4-Inch Nel Roll Caskett, and a special 4-Inch Nel classic series Mega Man were just unveiled at the World Hobby Fair. Hit the jump below for pics!
First up, 4-Inch Nel Roll Caskett. Unlike past "companion" 4-Inch characters, Roll is articulated! Price and release date are TBD but already she's looking great:
Next, a special 4-Inch Nel Mega Man dubbed "CollaboRockman" – it's a crossover between the blue bomber and Sentinel's mascot super robot, God Sentinel. It features a unique color palette, the 30th anniversary logo on the back, and interchangeable head and jet parts. Price and release date are TBD:
Finally, a teaser image for an armorless Mega Man X Nendoroid from Good Smile Co. No images of the actual figure, though:
That's about it for now. More updates soon!

Now waiting for the fan art & fan sprites of the custom armor for Mega Man. LUL
ReplyDeleteI was getting worried that I had no more mega man figures on pre-oreder. Looks interesting. I'm really surprised roll casket got a figure. We can only hope for X mavericks... can't believe it hasn't been done except for vile
ReplyDeleteMaverick boss would be a very specific thing to do. Now, maybe the rival character like Colonel or Dynamo.
DeleteMaking a specific animal based Maverick is no different than making a specific Robot Master.
DeleteWhat I would hope for is an Colonel, Iris, or Vile figure those would be great ! ...the other mavericks well...idk. But I also would settle for Protoman !!! Because they never made a d-arts ! A model kit...okay fine. But an actual figure that would be great !
Deleteand indeed, they're rarely making the robot master.
DeleteAlso it is still different, as the robot master from the first two games (the one who would get anything when something is done with the robot master) are more emblematic of the franchise.
They are learning. See how roll is articulated to some degree and not a straight statue? Hyper megaman (kinda) still worth trying to get.
ReplyDeletea full degree. roll looks fully articulated.
Deletei like it. if i can afford it im goin for both 4inchnel.
dont forget they are gonna do a mm11 version megaman also, they said.
Mm11 version is the one i hoped to see here the most as i want to see how they translate that new design into a 3d form. And, while i love any roll figures they make i would have preferred the classic one a litle more then this.
DeleteDamn. I'm having a hard time choosing between Armorless X, Rey, Roll and Lotte.
ReplyDeleteThe God Sentinel one should be an actual look he acquires in Mega Man 11. That would be a nice killer inclusion.
ReplyDeleteI hope that will be a costume, like the Star Force Mega Man in MM11.
Deleteseem like the success of the four inch nel up to now allowed them to up the quality for the next one. that's a good thing
ReplyDeleteCollaboRockman looks awesome! He reminds me of Hyper Rockman from MvC.
ReplyDeleteThough I'm dreading all the ecchi-customs of the 4-Inch Nel Roll Caskett figure.
Though on the plus side, new accessories. Or the car from legends 1.
DeleteWow. I love sentinel! this opens up even more possibilities to get figures for characters besides the popular ones that get rehashed with every companies new line. I'm definitely going for these, as long as they aren't con-exclusives.
ReplyDeleteCollaboRockman looks prety cool, though he's got more of a Mazinger Z vibe to me.
ReplyDeleteDef getting that Roll.
ReplyDeleteAlso that crossover Mega Man, it's like Mega Man meets Gundam, awesome.
Armorless nendroid MegaMan X ? My brothers been waiting on that one...I probably gonna preorder before it sells out...the roll fine its good step for sentinel...but not my fav. version tho'.

ReplyDeleteYou probably don't need to hurry; the original Mega Man Nendoroid is still available on-line for less than it was when it was released. Even the Metal Blade variant Nendoroid is still available. I'm personally waiting until they pop-up on Amazon, as they tend to drop $15-$20 when compared to pre-order prices.
Deletestill. no. Protoman. so disappointing.
ReplyDeleteI know....
DeleteAwesome. Now Sentinel please give us what we fans want so much; figures of Mavericks, like some Storm Eagle, Boomer Kuwanger, Magma Dragoon etc, all of them xD
ReplyDeletebut keep them to scale. dont make em 4inches only
DeleteAny new news on these?
ReplyDeleteNot yet!
