Is there any way to really watch this series in America anymore? Subbed or dubbed? I always wanted to.

DeleteWeird. I was under the impression Japanese TV doesn't do reruns? Let alone something this old.
ReplyDeleteAlso I think I remember reading Japanese TV doesn't allow shows to be aired in 4:3, so I imagine this will be recut for widescreen?
yeah, it's quite rare for anime to rerun in Japan. maybe they're going to release blu-ray or something.
DeleteOh hell yeah I can dig this so damn much. I loved this anime still do to this day one of my favorites. IF they do a bit of remastering itll look so damn good and more chances for fan subs groups to do more with this hell we might get a blu ray set
ReplyDeleteoh dear god the amount of love for rockman/megaman recently really does bring me hope that we will get something at E3 this year.
Tl;dr FUCK YEAH
Is this our chance to get the anime in HD?, or is just SD upscaled?. I'm going to guess the later because the anime is old but you never know.
ReplyDeleteOh god! Let it be reworked a little so it gets at least a 720p version QwQ
ReplyDeleteAww Im happy to listen that megaman exe is one of the best megamans
ReplyDeleteI think it's a real shame EXE didn't get dubbed all the way through. The English cast was much more preferable since more than half the characters in the Japanese version were voiced by female VAs and it was quite grating to hear, especially Mega Man and Lan.
ReplyDeleteMost anime are like that, even popular ones like Naruto and One Piece. I don't know why the logic descends, it should be simple male character = male voice actor but I guess voice actors don't think men can make adolescent voices cause of I don't know... Bart Simpson and friends or something.
DeleteIn MM.EXE's case they think it makes him sound like young boys do but it just sounds like hyper feminine girls. His English voice actors are infinity superior in my opinion, even if they sounded a bit mature.
they're little boys. i mean, it's comon for 10 years old boys to have a high voice so it does'nt sound that weird to me.
DeleteI do observe that japanese rarely have men voicing kid characters. maybe, as good the voices actor can be on their country, men's VA are not used to mimic kid's voice and tone.
that or japaneses kid tend to have higher voice than westerners before their voice break, i don't know.
English dubs sucks
Deleteno, in the case of Naruto/ One Piece this is just because the characters are like that. for exemple, this is to fit with Luffy goofyness and stuffs.
Deletein the case of lan, that's because 10 years old boys still have their kid voice, so for me it's not a problem when a 10 years old is voiced by a woman. that said i have never heard Lan's original voice, so i don't know if there really is something so gratting about this particular exemple. because, it's true that sometime the voice sound too feminine instead of just sounding like a kid.
Netto sounds OK I guess, its Rockman.EXE that sounds like a hyper soft female there is not an ounce of boy in his voice.
DeleteLike anon 5 says. it's Rockman's voice that bug me. that said, i can still watch it without too much problem
DeleteAnon 4, you only say they suck because you clearly can't get your English right.
DeleteThe english dubs weren't that good... In the Japenese version Megaman's voice was way better in my opinion. In the English version, Megaman just sounded like he was too mature and it also sounded like he had no depth as a character at all.
DeleteHopefully this gets redubbed!
ReplyDeleteThe reaired version is obviously an upscale, and it's in 4:3. Maybe a little better than the DVD version.
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping they decide to release the Axess, Stream and Beast background music in the future around the time of these reruns.
ReplyDeleteThough, I do have my doubts about it, I still hold hope for them to finally be enjoyed.
IT'S GOING TO BE RE-AIRED IN JAPAN AGAIN!
ReplyDeleteFor the majority of the Kirito half of the season, he is an extraordinary recluse. Particularly after a contention with different players after the thrashing of the main manager
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have to admit, after watching the first episode I was like: huh? what did I just watch?
ReplyDeleteshingeki no kyojin
