Not to be confused with
Mega Mini, a bite-sized Mega Man figure will soon be available via Funko's new "Retro Video Game Mystery Minis." It even
comes in a nifty arcade cabinet-shaped box. It's a little unusual to see Mega Man associated with mostly arcade characters; then again, these guys were on the NES in some shape or form, too.
The figures are slated to launch later this March.

That Mega Man-like at lower right, who's that? Dig-dug guy? What's his proper name?

DeleteYeah it's the guy from Dig-Dug. His name is Taizo.
DeleteHis proper name is Taizo Hori and yes he is the Dig Dug guy.
DeleteThe boxes they are shipped in are pretty cool. I don't get why Megaman would be in this set though. They could have added the Galaga ship or a zapped out ghost instead. That Frog is adorable though.
ReplyDeleteHis name is Dig Dug.
ReplyDeleteGood lord, why.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what's bad about this?
DeletePower Fighters / Power Battles it was arcade right??? Even if it was mainly in japan at least that gives him a slightly legitimate reason to be there i mean i'm reaching out abit for an actual reason but its better then nothing
ReplyDeleteThere was also that Playchoice NES thing that had Mega Man 3 in arcades but other than that Mega Man still seems out of place considering these are more "Atari era" characters. If they had to have a Capcom rep Arthur from Ghosts n' Goblins would have been a more fitting choice.
