By way of
Major Nelson, both
Mega Man 9 and
Mega Man 10 have been added to Xbox One Backwards Compatibility. This means if you previously downloaded the pair on Xbox 360 you can now enjoy them on your Xbox One. What's more, your old save files and DLC can be transferred to your Xbox One via the cloud.
And with that out of the way, let's get these guys on PC and PlayStation 4. Thank you!

That includes the DLC, right? Can I still play as Bass in Mega Man 10?
ReplyDeleteYup!
DeleteMeanwhile 0 backward compatibility from Sony on the PS4 :(
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile 55% compatibility with PC.
DeleteWell yeah, they wanna milk that PS Now crap as much as they can...
ReplyDeleteAnd finally on MM9 and 10 being brought over, was wondering if they would ever show up.
Well hot dawg! That's some good news right there!
ReplyDeleteIncidentally, I wonder if Capcom would be interested in just making a "lazy port" of these games... No, not like the Mobile remakes, but more like how Bubsy, Jim Power, and the "Sega Classics" are being sold on Steam; buy a license for a specialized version of an emulator, then bundle the games with it. If my poor old desktop of 8 years can run them without a problem (which, it absolutely can even while recording, aside from when an achievement pops up), then I see no reason not to do it. The only problems I can see so-far might be getting the Leaderboards working again or maybe even getting the in-game achievements working with Steam. I'm sure there's a way, though. I mean... it's not like Valve is too secretive with their API...
DeleteI guess the only chance of having this on PS4 will be if Inti Creates work on them again, I'm not sure if Capcom is willing to put that money on the table or even work with Inti Creates again.
ReplyDeleteI guess it's better than them being ported to mobile, lol. PC release next please.
ReplyDeleteBass looks more like an X character than a classic one.
