Straight from the Mega Hobby Showroom floor, here's quite possibly the saddest official Mega Man figure yet...
Designed by Rockman X manga artist Yoshihiro Iwamoto and produced by Amakuni, the statue captures one of the more famous scenes from X1:

I swore I was going to by no more X or Zero merch, since there is so much of it. And then... they hit me right on the weak point by getting Iwamoto involved.
ReplyDelete*sigh* ;_; I'll find a space on the shelf.
God damn it, X whines so much in his series. :P
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
Oh man i was going to avoid buying any mega figures for a while and then this came along.
ReplyDeleteYeah my money to this easy for such an iconic piece
I knew I recognized that style! Iwamoto, don't ever stop doing the great work for Mega Man X that you do.
ReplyDeleteToo emotional to look at. Nice figure looking!
ReplyDeleteX VS. MAVERICK ZERO!
ReplyDeleteI'd buy that in a heartbeat!
Imagine that this picture is integrated into Mega Man X9's title screen (if ever) just like Final Fantasy VIII's title screen (Squall and Rinoa).
ReplyDeleteIt would be epic!
2 minutes later Zero passes X in the lobby.
ReplyDeleteZero: S'up X.
X: Whats happening man.
Probably the most depressing figure I'll be adding to my collection.
ReplyDeleteHas a release date been set yet?
