Thanks to the modding efforts of DarkShocker, you can now play Mega Man 7 with enhanced CD-quality music. A newly released patch takes full advantage of the MSU-1 multimedia enchantment SNES chip, delivering some pretty slick tunes. Take a look at the video above!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! It's rare to see MM7 get love like this!

ReplyDeleteWow! Getting this now!
ReplyDeleteI hope X2, X3, and R&F (heck even Soccer lmao) will get this kind of treatment someday.
ReplyDeleteThey did. At least, X1, 2 and 3 did.
DeleteOh wow I had no idea (I don't remember it being reported on either.) I didn't expect them to have other videos.
DeleteNow just waiting on the other two....I would actually be kinda hype if Soccer did get an arranged soundtrack. There are some good tracks on there.
what? no standard shade man theme?
ReplyDeleteSeconding R&F. A modernized soundtrack for that game would sound choice.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I enjoy a synth soundtrack, an X-styled heavy rock soundtrack would sound so good for the classic games.
Spring Man's theme sounds like something straight outta Sonic Adventure lol
ReplyDeleteI believe that the composer of these Remixes deserves some recognition here. The Producer's name is KrzystofStowikowski

To date he has remixed MegaMan 1-7 as well as X1-3 in their entirety. EVERYONE is encouraged to check his stuff out as he is a freaking legend at this point.
