I don't know, man; there's something about these new backpack hanger figures. Is it the dead eyes? The droopy faces? Consider me spooked. I'll let Rush slide - that one's actually sort of cute*.
Anyway, these little figures were just revealed from
E-Capcom. Produced by
Evolete, they're due in May for 950 Yen (pack of three, blind box) or a box of 24 for 22,800 Yen. Brace yourself because Evolete distributes internationally. Beware!
*If you want cute,
GCC Mini's Rockman stuff was really great.

I'm with you here, the quality's really off compared to the old charm set. The Megamen and Elecman in particular look pretty derped. I quite like Roll, Rush and Iceman though, with the latter being a welcome addition. Nice to see him in more merch lately.
ReplyDeleteI'm personally tired of all this ridiculous merchandise the series has turned to. If anything, I really miss the arranged soundtracks we were getting. Why didn't they produce a CHIP TUNED ROCKMAN 2? I thought the first one was great. The 20 and 25th Anniversary arrange were actually not too bad either. I thought the weakest ones were the "WE ARE ROCKMEN" soundtracks since it didn't really bring anything "new" to the table...
ReplyDeleteQuality is not that good, I believe is 950 yen for a pack with three hangers.
ReplyDeleteThose faces are comedically off. Both Elecman and Mega Man's Elecman costume are cracking me up.
ReplyDeleteThough further proof that literally any piece of merch they can slap the franchise on to at this point.
Rush looks cute, as usual.
ReplyDeleteI sense it's from China.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a new release in the spirit of the Bandai Super Modelling Soul figures.
ReplyDeleteThey're pretty creepy. =/
ReplyDeleteWhen you are choosing a backpack for a trip, some important things to consider are the methods of transportation you will be using, and the climate and weather forecast for your final destination. Revisit these criteria to make sure that you have chosen the right backpack.
