ReplyDeleteOn the Zero shirt: "If that step dose come about,"... come on. Otherwise cool designs.
ReplyDeleteI want the maverick and Vile patches.....
ReplyDeleteThe X shirt gets a B for effort, but it's not grabbing me. Don't care for the X8 design or the pose, and I could do without the excerpt at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteThat's not the X8 design, that's a concept design never used in any game.
DeleteIt's a good time to be alive and a fan of Capcom though, how wondrous it is to have shirts with 10+ year old artwork on them, and Street Fighter/Monster Hunter everywhere.
Pretty hard to mistake that face or that buster cannon as anything not from X8.
DeleteWell first of you are talking about (with the face) something that is partly art style not fully design. Second

I think this is enough to warrant not being the X8 design.
Personally though I couldn't care what you think is or is not X8, I personally love the X8 design, it shows off how X would look if realistically proportioned yet still anime. I could actually see X8 X existing in the real world as a robot.
I also like the other designs too I'm not that picky and they all have their strong points. Well except when it comes to Ariga, hate his designs.
Looks pretty close to me. Just a concept-phase sketch for the finalized design.
DeleteI'd buy more Megaman X merchandise if it featured the SNES art styles instead of the PSX styles.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I prefer Hayato Kaji's early style for X. Not too bulky, not too edgy-looking. Just good clean badass.
DeleteHold on are these official?
ReplyDeleteYes
