The final issue of Archie Comics'
Mega Man was supposed to hit newsstands on Wednesday, November 18th. However, the official Archie Comics Twitter
reveals issue #55 has been delayed by to Wednesday, December 2nd. A three week delay.
Archie did not provide a reason for the delay, though they "promise it will be worth the wait!" Without much to go on, all we can do is speculate. Trouble with the printers? Panels need some extra polish? Has the hiatus been cancelled? Who knows!
If we hear anything else we'll let you know. Hang tight!

ReplyDeleteP.S.
That was sarcasm.
I choose to view and accept those words without the sarcasm. Because I believe those are true words.
DeleteWE GET IT. YOU DON'T LIKE THE ARHCIE COMICS
DeleteLook at this drawing.. so americanized art. It so ugly!
ReplyDeleteWhy are you hating on it? It looks pretty good.
DeleteAnnouncements of delays for Mega Man media have historically been followed by announcements of cancellations.
ReplyDeleteThey probably need three weeks to try and figure out to spin that to sound positive.
Game-wise yes, but not for printed media. Udon often delayed their books, but they were always released.
DeleteA small, idealistic part of me really hopes this means the comic is about to be revived, but I doubt it. Something tells me they wouldn't waste much time in announcing the "hiatus" was over if that was actually the case, but who knows? I just hope this comic really could somehow be "worth the wait", although considering all the possibilities this comic had, it's really sad to see it go.
