And by brief I mean literal seconds. The above video shows most if not all the Amiibo costumes Mario can wear in Super Mario Maker. Mega Man pops in at the 1:19 mark and hops around a bit. He's so tiny!
For the uninitiated, the costume can only be used in 8-bit Super Mario Bros. stages. No Buster or anything fancy like that - it's a skin. You can unlock it with a Mega Man Amiibo.
Super Mario Maker launches in North America on September 11th.
What if you don't have Amiibos? Could you still unlock these guys with DLC?
ReplyDeleteYou can unlock them in-game without amiibo, but what you have to do to unlock different skins is unclear.
DeleteIf you download a stage with any of the amiibo suits in it, you can use that amiibo suit from then on in your own stages.
DeletePretty sure that you have to complete one 100 Mario Challenge to unlock a random amiibo costume. If what you said about downloading a stage is true, then things must have changed.
DeleteThe ones that talk kinda annoy me but other than that this is pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteWow. What a ugly Megaman!
