That's right, the fourth installment in the
Battle Network series is headed to the Wii U Virtual Console soon. Very soon!
Rockman EXE 4 Red Sun and
Blue Moon are slated to launch in Japan next week, March 25th for 702 Yen a piece.
No word yet on North America or the rest of the world. We'll keep you posted.

Will this be the game that becomes one super-version right from the start? Best part was being able to find a random encounter Navi in every map of the game.
ReplyDeleteRockman EXE was a badass looking character, I'll give him that.
ReplyDeleteYes he was. Such a badass.
DeleteOh, those poor Japanese kids who'll try to 100% the game. I did that once. Once and never again.
ReplyDeleteOh god they are two separate titles according to the dating. Is there any way to link any GBA games together on the Wii U or no? Otherwise these games are shipping with alot of features missing....
ReplyDeleteNearly all titles released to the VC have communications disabled. The Zelda Oracle games, the Pokemon TCG game, the Harvest Moon and River King pair that originally could be linked... I wouldn't expect this to have any working communication features.
DeleteCapcom usually implements features in the VC ports that required both games to be gotten before, with the exception of link battle.
DeleteI hope Capcom actually make some kind of announcement about these titles (Mega Man & Bass/Battle Network 4 etc) coming Westwards soon, we've not officially heard anything about Virtual Console releases since June last year on Capcom Unity & even then we're still waiting on at least 2 games mentioned then Zero 2/(Battle Network 2 for Europe) & Battle Network 3...
ReplyDeleteI wonder if there's any risk of the WoodMan scenario still being screwy.
ReplyDeleteOnly screwy issue with that scenario was if you played RS or BM on a DS...
DeleteI don't think so. I've heard reports of it being an issue even on the SP and emulators. Which I think is essentially what the virtual console games are being booted up with.
Delete*Secretly hopes these re-releases are leading up to the announcement of a new game, despite knowing it's not going to happen*
