In celebration of Capcom’s 30th anniversary, the iconic Monster Hunter Felyne will soon appear as a figure dressed as Mega Man. Before then, though, manufacturer Ichiban Kuji invites fans to get a peek behind the curtain where the figure's nine month design process is laid bare. From concept art to prototype molds, this report details all there is to know about the cat's conception.
We almost had a helmet with cat ears, by the way. In the end, however, it looked a little too much like Tango. See it for yourself in the above link!

.... MH always and always Monster Hunter _-_ .....
ReplyDeleteI would prefer a Tango figure :q
ugh what is this trash
ReplyDeletecrapcom ruining megaman's image even more and i'm getting insane for lack of new mega man game to play since i finished all of them.
DeleteIt's exactly the same merch you commented on a few posts back
DeleteWow, this figure should do well with cat lovers.
ReplyDeleteI really don't care what anybody has to say about this. I think that figure looks adorable!
ReplyDeleteI like how Capcom's 30th aniversary gets all their franchises gussied up in ugly pseudo-8-bit sprites in obvious homage to Megaman. Shows that they really do only see him and his iconic art style as an easy marketing ploy.
ReplyDelete"We almost had a helmet with cat ears,"
ReplyDeleteNow I wonder if the helmet isn't uncomfortable for his ears...
I actually would have liked cat-ears MM Helmet version... D:
ReplyDeleteReminds me of this:
