The Nintendo Community Fangame Convention is an annual online event for fan-game developers to demonstrate projects currently in development. This year, Mega Man aficionados will have the opportunity to play three titles: Mega Man Battle Network: Chrono X, Mega Man Perfect Harmony, and Mega Man: Day in the Limelight 3 (beta version).
To participate, simply click the links above and give the games a spin. If you want more to do, head to the NCFC forums and send the developers some. Comments and general suggestions are more than encouraged.
Best of luck to team Mega Man. Enjoy, folks! (thanks for the tip, Raul!)
There's a Day in the Limelight 3...?! ... shoot me.
ReplyDeleteAlso, can't help but notice that Mega Man X: Corrupted isn't listed there. That's the Mega Man Unlimited of the X fan games. I wonder if it's even being worked on now?
Same here. I'm also surprised that Mega Man: Triple Threat wasn't given a mention, either. After all, it's one of the very few non-8-bit Mega Man fangames around.
DeleteWait. That's still actively being worked on? I loved the demo I played a while back! The one bundled with that awesome Sonic the Hedgehog demo. I'm glad that's still around!
DeleteYeah. Even though it's been about three years since the last demo was released, there was a comment that one of the game's creators left on this video ten months ago, stating that the game hasn't been discontinued.
DeleteHey Protodude. I was the one who sent in the tip. You may want to revise the section about "prizes." This year's NCFC is focused on just getting the word out for games, not a competition of sorts.
