The 2013 San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner, and UDON Entertainment is giving us one more glimpse at the limited hardcover edition of
MM25: Mega Man & Mega Man X Official Complete Works. It features a shiny
blue laser foil dust jacket, and special "schematic design" varnishing under the dust jacket.
This item will be available from the UDON booth, #4529, on a first-come, first-served basis for $100. If you really want it, it might not be a bad idea to hit up UDON's booth as soon as you hit the floor!
You can see some additional sample images at UDON's Facebook page here.
I cancelled my preorder of the regular version with the hopes of being able to buy this edition from UDON's website sometime after the Comic-Con.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed.
The artwork is really meh as it's stock art, but the other stuff they did to it looks pretty cool. :D Drat the fact that this is a con exclusive (and a difficult con to go to, may I add). :( They did mention that leftover books will be sold on their website but I can only imagine how high shipping will be. :\ Oh well. I still want it.
ReplyDeleteThey stated on The Mega Man Network that it will only be a SDCC exclusive because of the shipping would be too high...
ReplyDeleteLimited edition, so it's pretty much only at the Con, they MIGHT put some spares on the website, AND it's that expensive?
ReplyDeleteLook, I'd pay extra, but Hyrule Hystoria was better than this.
UDON, I may skip this book altogether. This is really crummy.
Protodude, I leaked something from comic con I'm not sure if you want me too email it though or just check the link:

It's called Project Rockman, I'm working on setting up some booths and I found this on a screen.
Uh...
DeleteFakes thing I've ever seen.
DeleteWhy does that remind me of this image lmao http://www.rockmanpm.com/i/cpapcom/rockman9/megaman9s.png
DeleteWhoa what was that image from?!
ReplyDeleteA tad disappointed that X isn't on the dust jacket too.
ReplyDeleteX appears on the back cover, so no worries ;)
DeleteThough I picked up both separate complete works books, this still looks really nice, and the added content might just sucker me in. I anticipate these will pop up on ebay shortly after SDCC.
