MM25's Printing Proof is a Monster
This towering pile of paper, my friends, is the printing proof version of MM25: Mega Man and Mega Man X Official Complete Works. Not to worry; the final book won't be this thick. This format helps UDON's editors check for errors.
"While the final book won’t measure the 3 or 4 inches tall that this print stack does, it does hopefully give you an idea of just how BIG a deal MM25 is going to be!" proclaims UDON chief Erik Ko. "Replacing our Mega Man Official Complete Works and Mega Man X Official Complete Works, this 430+ page MONSTER faithfully reproduces the recently released Japanese edition, R20+5!"
MM25 is due in August. If you're interested, preorders are live on Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, and on Barnes & Noble.com

That cover looks better than the official one.
ReplyDeleteI would pay good money for that printing proof, no lie.
ReplyDeleteYou know, if it ever went on ebay (MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARING FROM UDON), hint hint.
I would love to have it but 40 dollars for just this book ? Insane. No thanks.
ReplyDelete@Shin Star: Hate to say that's the same page 1 as in the Japanese edition, not a real cover. Kinda amusing contrast how the actual cover looks way too plain, and the first page looks way too busy. But maybe that's just me.
ReplyDeleteFor once I'm actually kinda on the fence if it's even worth having the English version too, due to how little added material is in it, but I suppose being able to actually read the 14 pages of illustrator interviews might lead me to purchase it.
^Remember Anon, this is actually Two books in one, I'd say 40 bucks is a good price for 500 pages, I'll buy for sure.
