By way of Tamashii Nations, here's our first official look at the upcoming D-Arts Ultimate Armor X. The product page anticipates an August release in Japan. If tradition holds true, we could see him on our shores no less than a month later.

ReplyDeleteIt looks cool, but it looks like the parts can't be removed to make the Glider like the model could.
So when can we pre order this? lol And which sites will have it?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect the glider because it wasn't even used in-game, but was just a gimmick for the old Mega Armor Series figure. I think the lack of "transformation" will make this a far more stable figure, and I love the clear look.

Awesome, but I would love to see something like Bandai Saint Seiya action figures, with detachable parts.

It's so....majestic. I may cancel the Anniversary statue order and use the money for this!

ReplyDeleteThat'd be one thick box if it stayed on X's back like that. I'm not a betting man, but I'd wager that it comes off, and is sectioned off with the buster shot, faces, etc.
As much as I wanted Iris and Roll more than this figure... I have to admit, it looks pretty damn amazing.

Man people need to shut up with that dumb Iris talk! When confronted with the likes of *ULTIMATE ARMOR X*, Iris could not only take a back seat, but take it in a back room, in a back section of a back building, in a back city, in a back state, in a back country.
