Let's Try This Again: 100K Strong Rocket Launches Tomorrow!
The often delayed launch of 100,000 Strong For Mega Man Legends 3's rocket is ready at last for blast-off. Tomorrow, the public event is once again scheduled to be held at 3pm at the Hearne Municipal Airport in Hearne, Texas.
Gotta warn ya: forecast is calling for 30% chance of rain. Doubtful that would delay the launch again, so the only thing you should worry about is dressing for rain (wouldn't hurt to bring an umbrella, too). For more details, hit up the official launch details here!

Calling it now, it gets "postponed" again. XD
ReplyDeleteIt's not like they can't just... do the event at a much more reasonably weathered area.
Aw, who am I kidding, that would have to mean that they weren't just scamming the fans for $1500+. XDDD
Why don't they just schedule this thing in the summer time around July? Texas rarely gets any rain then and we haven't had any hurricanes since the mid-2000s. :/ It would just be hot as hell but nothing extreme to delay it.
ReplyDelete@Castillero:
ReplyDeleteIt was supposed to be on the anniversary, so I guess this was the next closest date.
I’m live from Hearne right now, pretty overcast, dunno if it will clear up. If it does get postponed, the summer launch might not be a bad idea.
Better sun for photos too.
Raining. What a bummer.
ReplyDeleteAaaaaand it's gonna get canceled, again.
ReplyDeleteNot so, Anon! The launch went great after some tune up and adding the parachute and motor.
ReplyDeleteThe rocket had a ton of drag, but it flew in an impressively straight line up. It was sprinkling here and there, and definitely overcast, but the rocket's colors looked nice against the gray sky.
Mission accomplished!
