This Friday, January 18, Capcom will distribute the highly anticipated update for Street Fighter X Mega Man. Version 2 will fine-tune various bugs and implement a password system, among other changes:
- Confirmation prompt before exiting (ESC) or resetting (F12) the game
- E Tank glitch and various other bugs fixed
- Improved controller support (Game defaults to keyboard on launch; make sure controller is plugged in prior to opening the file, then go into Options menu and set keys)
- Take screenshots using F9
- M Bison buffed a bit
No additional content this time around, but these updates are said to make the game easier to run and play (always a good thing). SFXMM V2 will be available straight from the Mega Man group page on Capcom Unity around 5pm PT/8pm ET. Look forward to it!

Yes! Passwords! I can finaly play the game now :)
ReplyDeleteThey did something right by adding that password screen. Honestly it should have been there in the first place, but better late than never.
ReplyDeleteM Bison buff? Urien was still the toughest in the game.
ReplyDeleteUrien? The toughest in the game? You must be joking.
ReplyDelete(I assume you mean default buster duel only.)
Vega (Claw) is easily (ucwutididthar) the most irritating boss in the game ("secret boss" notwithstanding).
I still don't quite understand how Urien's weakness works, but yeah, I don't find him too hard to buster duel at all.
ReplyDeleteWell those updates should make it feel more legit if anything.
ReplyDeleteThey should have added a few special stages with extra bosses (and powers), maybe some characters like Dan and Ken.
Again, I still can't really play it until they allow me to customize the keyboard controls. Even so, this is a good first step.

ReplyDeleteOnly the explosion from the grenades deals weakness damage to Urien, if you hit him with the actual grenade it's junk.
@Speyeker: But you can customize the keyboard controls. Press F2.
ReplyDeleteNice updates. But how smoothly does it run on Windows Vista?
ReplyDeleteAddress that issue, or port it to a game console. Can't even touch the game otherwise.
