Not a keyboard fan? No worries;
Street Fighter X Mega Man will support controllers. Capcom Unity community manager Brett Elston confirmed USB controller compatibility via
Twitter. Your Xbox 360 controller, PS3 controller or what have you will work with the game.
Street Fighter X Mega Man is due on December 17 as a free download from Capcom Unity's Mega Man hub. Moreover, December 17 will
play host to more Mega Man news. So yeah... should be a day to look forward to!
It's great that it has built in controller support, but even if it didn't, I would have just used Joy2Key.
ReplyDeleteFunny how this instantly shuts up anybody who put down the game because they thought it wouldnt support controllers.
ReplyDeleteAnd like the first anon said, there are programs that get around that issue like Joy2Key.
If the game is really good, then I'll forgive Capcom.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the original creator for the game is awesome for making this exist. :P
What about a Mac version? Will there be a Mac version?
ReplyDeleteWill be using my Wii Remote! Also hopying for a Linux version of the game -- or that it is at least 100% playable through Wine. :)
ReplyDeleteI'll probably still use Xpadder because of it's options for Deadzones and such. I usually set the Deadzone to 95-99% so that it won't register until full tilt. Which maximizes the are of each direction and minimises hitting other direction near the middle of the stick where the difference between two "zones" is less than a millimeter.
ReplyDeleteHell yes. I detest keyboard controls and only use them if no alternative is availible.
ReplyDeleteI will be playing the crap out of this come next tuesday.
even if it didn't there are always things like joy2key or similar software to bind keys to buttons
ReplyDeletetoo bad it doesnt work right. My xbox 360 controller doesnt do jack shit when i try to play with it!
ReplyDeleteMy PS3 and 360 controller work fine for all emulation but not for this game for some reason.
