By way of
Rockman Unity, here's some more sample pages from
R20+5: Rockman & Rockman X Official Complete Works. These illustrations are tribute pieces from three well-known Rockman comic artists: Hitoshi Ariga (
Megamix), Yoshihiro Iwamoto (
Rockman X) and
Ryo Takamisaki (Rockman EXE). Check out the rest at Rockman Unity or after the break!
I almost cried with Hitoshi Ariga's drawing, I mean, look at X with all their older brothers and sisters behind him, and with his father looking at him almost as a dream *_*. Yoshihiro Iwamoto It's great too.
ReplyDeleteAnd now I know why Ariga hasn't used the Powered Up bosses.

ReplyDeleteThe Iwamoto one is pretty neat too. Nice to see him tackle Bass. Interesting that he used Zero's X1 design, but props to him for it. That design is underrated.
It's pretty neat seeing the BN Manga artist draw Trigger and X, id certainly like to see more of the other series in his style!
