Capcom Bar Serves "Rockman Honey Toast"
For those not in the know, Capcom actually has a bar in Japan. The place serves Capcom themed food and, for one reason or another, never offered anything Rockman-related on the menu. Until now.
Beginning in December, the bar will serve "Rockman honey toast." For a limited time, you can grab it from the 2,500 Yen course meal ($27.44) or the 3,500 Yen course meal ($42.74). What exactly is honey toast, you ask? It's a dessert; ice cream served inside a sweet loaf of bread topped off with honey and, traditionally, some fruit. It's reportedly delicious, moreso at the Capcom bar with a dash of Rockman served on top.
All in all, it comes down to price. This is one expensive dessert... you're probably better of making your own honey toast.

I sense an inevitable cancellation!!!
ReplyDeleteIt appears Capcom is trying to gain the fandom's favor back...now all we need is alcoholic E-Tank beverages, rockman-themed publicity stunts, and coupons for free desserts in order to make the next big step forward.
ReplyDeleteWell... the drink there is blue colored, if that counts for something, but somehow I doubt it's meant to be a reference to the blue bomber.
ReplyDeleteRockman or not, I get hungry looking at that.

ReplyDeleteIf I eat the cake with a 1UP on it... will it grant me an extra life? :p
ReplyDelete"Comes down to a price". Well, were you expecting anything else from Capcom?
ReplyDeleteMade by Hornet Man, Blast Hornet and Queenbee.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're toast now, Rockman!
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, in Capcom's defense, I wouldn't eat anything named after a robot either.
