R20+ Is Huge, Due On December 17
Following the recent announcement of "R20+ Rockman & Rockman X Official Complete Works: Revised Edition”, E-Capcom has begun accepting pre-orders. The listing brings some new details about the forthcoming art book. Most important, it now has a specified release day of December 17, 2012 (just in time for the 25th anniversary). It will be 432 pages in A4 format, the same size as its predecessor. By comparison, the original R20 was 331 pages!
As previously reported, manga artists Hitoshi Ariga and Yoshihiro Iwamoto will be submitting special illustrations for the book. Moreover, it's assumed we'll see some stuff from Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 since they came out after the original R20. More details are expected to drop in the near future, however, so we should have confirmation soon.

bring this over, UDON!
ReplyDelete101 new pages? Not too bad.
ReplyDeleteMMs9, 10, Xover, and whatever Ariga and Iwamoto are contributing is a given; wonder what else they're gonna add.
They may add some extras about the cancelled Mega Man Universe, or something... I know that the original R20 had pages of prototype artwork for games that never saw the light of day.
ReplyDeleteBut who knows.
Freaking awesome!! my Christmas present.
ReplyDeleteIf I have money, I might get this....
ReplyDeletewaiiiit. Iwamoto.. isn't he the guy that did the X manga?

O_O 101 NEW PAGES?!! Somebody get UDON on this immediately! If they get started on localizing it now, we might get it by the year 21XX!

I used to be annoyed that I didn't bought R20 yet... now I'm glad I saved money! :P (Udon please bring it over!)
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, why not release a new book called "M.M. Series O.C.W." with MM9-10, †over, Universe, Online, ZX series, Legends series and the extras?
