It's the longest trailer yet and it's got some
great footage of X, Zero, Tron Bonne and Vile in action. Check it out below (good stuff at 4:44)!
Project X Zone is due for release in Japan on October 11th. Still no word yet for any release in the west, but we can hope.
The X, Zero, Vile, Tron Bonne & Ulala stuff was all just so... so rad!!! :D
ReplyDeleteawesome.
ReplyDelete<3 Best X's Birthday gift EVAR.
ReplyDeleteGoddamn Bandai Namco I love you right now. First you stick X in PXZ, then you stick Ezio in Soul Caliber 5, now you give X an awesome epic moveset. Thank. You.
(AWESOME HADOUKEN OF DEATH @ 15:00 = *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE*!)
I've pre-ordered the game from Amazon and can't wait for the game to come!
ReplyDeleteI doubt it'll come to the west since there are lots of games that only released in Japan. Besides, this game is like a sequel of Namco X Capcom and Endless Frontier series, which only released in Japan, so I doubt it'll come to the US.
Still wish Sonic was in this.
ReplyDeleteI really want to see the Blue Bomber and the Blue Blur team up in something that's not a print medium. (Though I'm not objecting to the comic by any means.)
I dunno, I might get this, but I'm not a fan of most of these series.
I might have to import this if a region free hack for 3ds ever becomes available. does this remind anyone else of the super robot wars games minus the giant robots?
ReplyDelete@the last anon : it is made by the same company that did the SRW games so yeah xD.
ReplyDeleteOn topic, omg this game is gonna rock i love these types of games ,really big fan of SRW style games so this is gonna be sweet =D(but since i'm poor as hell i can't afford a Nintendo 3DS)
Still not quite getting the appeal.
ReplyDeleteWANT.
ReplyDeleteWow, I didn't recognize half of those characters, but they were all so cool-looking! I would totally get this game, if only to figure out who those characters are and learn more about them.
Oh, and X and Zero being playable characters is awesome, too. (No love for Axl the third wheel, though. Sad face...)
Fingers crossed for a State-side release.
Looking pretty good so far. Unfortunately, it looks like this is as good as things are going to get for the Mega Man series...
ReplyDeleteWhen the hell has a game like this ever receive a US release? ....Never.
ReplyDeleteA guy... uses... a grandfather clock in some of his attacks...
ReplyDeleteI MUST KNOW HIS NAME
Did anyone actually watch all 16 minutes of this? I didn't.
ReplyDeleteThis does look really cool. I'm not just happy to see the MegaMan characters, but Yuri and Estelle from Tales of Vesperia, too. I love the Tales series. =)
@12:35 AM
ReplyDeleteDo you also have a Japanese 3DS? Because those are region locked it won't work in other countries.
@anon2: Strange, not too long ago I heard the same thing that was said about "Tatsunoko vs Capcom". Granted it was the updated version that was brought to the west, but even so it amazed everybody that they succeeded in doing so. I've heard from many who said the Facebook phenomenon contributed to the success and that there was no such thing to get the Namco X Capcom games stateside.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me kinda sad to see SEGA with these two assclowns when they could totally have their own crossover game, SEGA has way more IPs than any other company, and before any of you funny little fellas that are trapped in the futuristic year of 2006 come joking around, I think SEGA is getting better and better and deserve more than this poor excuse for a crossover, and at least they treat their fans with respect and are always trying to create new series, like the ones with Platinum Games... only care for Rockman X in all these animu-shithead-clusterfuckery... and i like anime, but not the ones from 1999-PRESENT, and i hate this generic artstyle.... I don't care for this game and if it's Japan only... but i digress, this is the only interesting game Rockman will ever appear on in the 25th anniversary, so i should just stfu and be happy....
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure we're not going to get this game. It might be a turn-based strategy RPG with a semi-unique fighting system, but super crossovers like this often don't make the jump across the pond, or even get released in the UK. Namco x Capcom, anyone? Or how about DreamMix TV World Fighters, the little Smash Bros. clone with Hudson, Konami, and Takara characters?
ReplyDeleteStill, it'd be so cool to see this come state-side...
I have to finish Namco x Capcom... I wonder if this game is gonna be as long as that one (there's 50 chapters and it takes me like 2-3 hours per chapter)
ReplyDelete*crosses fingers for US release*
@Anonymous that said "A guy... uses... a grandfather clock in some of his attacks... I MUST KNOW HIS NAME"
ReplyDeleteBruno Delinger from Dynamite Deka?
I admit, the game has nice looking eye candy. But as a game, its only appeal is fan service honestly. If the intended market is supposed to be fans of any of the series, you can bet the game is going to be derp easy and incredibly shallow, mechanics wise.
ReplyDeleteI'll youtube the interesting content after the game is released, but I have no intentions of playing the game. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they spoiled everything already in the trailers.
Props for the Hadouken/Genmu Zero combo. Kind of funny seeing Zero spam it ala X5 rather than using the updated one from MvC3.
WTF,Space Channel 5,Sakura Wars,Rival Schools,Megaman Legends and a lot more...
ReplyDeleteToo bad this won't be localized, just like Capcom x Namco.
No Sonic or Lloyd makes me a little sad.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, though.
