Hey, You Can Now Play Mega Man 1-4 on PlayStation Vita


Just a quick heads-up for all you PlayStation Vita owners: the much anticipated 1.80 firmware has gone live in North America. With it, you'll be able to play a number of PSOne Classics on your Vita like, oh I don't know, the Complete Works versions of Mega Man 1~Mega Man 4.

For the time being, Mega Man 1-4 (and a number of other games) can only be obtained on Vita via PlayStation 3 system transfer. They cannot be purchased/re-downloaded directly from the Vita's PS Store (not yet, at least). You'll find a handy how-to-guide on the process here.

Transferring isn't too terribly complicated, I promise. Just make sure to follow those instructions carefully. Enjoy!

    And you can play Megaman 1-8, Megaman X1-X6, Legends 1-2, Zero 1-4, Battle Network 1-6 on your PSP!

    They should make it 1-10, 3D, with a level creator, and not look like powered up. Make it something to be taken seriously. I'm tired of eight bit. We played 1-8 so many times. I'm sure we want a new experience which the PS Vita can give.

    You can play classic Mega Man on everything else! Now including the vita! Wonder if that shitty looking iOS game and this is all we're getting for the 25th anniversary.

    That would have to imply that people actually bought a Vita.

    Let alone Megaman fans buying one, seeing as there's nothing Megaman related on it besides what they likely already got on PSP/PS3. XD

    Hot dog, I wish I could play X9, or Legends 3 or maybe MHX2 or something on my Vita, which I have yet to purchase. X3
