Still no word on a North American release (or Europe, for that matter). However, we do tend to get releases after Japan, so we'll probably expect something to surface in early 2012. Doubtful X2 will hit this week, but you never know.
Thanks for the tip, Josh!
Oh nice, not dead? =)
ReplyDeleteI hope Capcom will understand, rockman is their best franchise D:
Anon 1, I dont think making a port of a game makes a franchise any less dead. Hell, if that were the case this year would'va been a GREAT one for Megaman.
ReplyDeleteYawn.Damn the slow news week.(No offense protodude)
ReplyDelete@First Anon: If they'd stop milking some franchises to the brink(Network in general, the later installments of Classic and X not including 9 and 10) and actually put more time into the sequels, it would be their best franchise. But because they don't it isn't.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the sales of original X and X2(and most likely X3) will help convince Capcom to make a new X game.
@McWhalen:
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to point it out, really.
Doubtful X2 will hit week? Dont be negative. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, I've gotta get ahold of that intro/final stage remix. It's awesome beyond words.
ReplyDeleteAt least there's one Mega Man game to look forward to.
ReplyDeleteahhh it is possible getting the buster parts without the leg parts?? and megaman x is a coll franchise for me!!!
ReplyDeletetoo bad the game doesn't play as fast as in the preview, it looks like it would be alot more fun to play if it ran at that speed.
ReplyDelete@edward_megaman
ReplyDeleteYes, it is possible, just defeat Wire Sponge, and get to the part. It's a little bit tricky to get it right. Just fast jump to the other side and try to "hook" the Wire weapon to the wall and immediately start jumping. If done corrctly, you can get the X-Buster upgrade without the boots :)
